So much brainpower has gone into this stuff, yet the obvious thing still eludes all the makers. So many people have put all of this together in so many versions, but like two years down the road, nobody has packaged everything in one download that has an "install" button. Making an app that launches seems like it would be child's play compared to everything else the devs have made possible. It's like opening a free restaurant with the best gourmet food, and all you have to do to come eat is learn how to pick locks, and go through six doors. Just put one door on the thing and leave it open!
Hi, I just wanted to say thank you for this. I just got a new PC this week and I really wanted to dip my toes into AI, this guide made it super easy for me to get up and running. I've been playing around with this for hours now and I'm honestly having a ton of fun just generating random images with suggestions from friends. I have no clue what the multitude of options do but I'm just having fun playing around with it all. This stuff just blows my mind.

i dont know where he gets it from but once you install stability matrix you can go into settings and there is a place where you can open the files and put everything in
@@aidendeans5569 In the install, he selects portable. That puts the data directory in the same folder as the installer. If you don't select portable, you can select where you want to put the data folder and what the folder name is. It defaults to your RoamingData (Ithink) folder. I put it on my desktop but Documents is likely where you would want it.
Thank you for the tutorial. I wanted a UI I was familiar with and comfy looks way too confusing for my lazy butt. Already familiar with automatic 1111/stable diffusion so this will be nice. Thank you for recommending and showing an EASY UI.
The install for Stablility Matrix has a step asking which UI you want to use. It has some WebUI's as the default so wasn't sure which one to select. I have skipped them for now but was hoping you could offer a recommendation.
@@deerfarmer45 Ok, that should be plenty. I see your post was from 3 months ago. Did you ever figure it out? I would reduce the ouput to 512x512 to test this. Start with very low resolution. Or maybe install a model that requires less memory.
Since almost all of the Flux models runs through console and nodes via comfyui, you can't use other lora? Or at least i can't manage to run them through a1111 ui

Hey, figured it out. In the Stability Matrix UI head down to the bottom left corner and click on settings. Then scroll down till you see the System Tab and under that is " Select New Data Directory ". That would show you your original Data directory folder location, which you can change. So, it seems the Stability Matrix must be installed before you proceed with the rest.
Did everything according to the guide but having: "Error(s) in loading state_dict for Flux: \tsize mismatch for img_in.weight: copying a param with shape torch.Size([98304, 1]) from checkpoint, the shape in current model is torch.Size([3072, 0])."
Thanks for the tutorial, i now have everything installed, unfortunatley my nvideia cuda graphics card cant handle it, being a laptop its not an easy thing to replace, so my question is what do you think are the best laptops to handle it, notebooks seem to be the thing now put they are limited in being able to expand memory, storage ect so id rather stick with a laptop

Which UI to use with stability matrix?
Uhm bruv, seems you missed the main step, where did the "Data" Folder come from
the data folders created the first time you run the StabilityMatrix, so yes he missed that part out

hello, i'm getting this: RuntimeError: linear(): input and weight.T shapes cannot be multiplied (1568x64 and 1x98304). how to fix?

update. It takes like 5 minutes to 7 on my 1060 6GB Nvidia. Still needs an upgrade. 😅
