Tony smiled and said “ Thanks a lot man. I’m headed down to the theater now for rehearsal. I’m going to be in a new play that’s showcasing soon. Gotta stay working when you love it.” We shook hands, and Tony went to rehearsal and I hit the 34th st pavement

A couple of years later, me against the world was my shit. When all eyez on me came out, Pac became my favorite rapper of all time, still is to this day. (Cube was my favorite. When snoop came out with deep cover, he became my favorite, after pac released aeom, he was/is my favorite.

Blew my mind how TF did he remember me? Each time I was with a different set of two super hot girls, and neither time they try hitting on them, they were looking but stayed super respectful, I took it as a sign of mutual respect but don't know for sure. I do know they are cool as ish. Biz Markie also showed the same respect but I had one of the girls give him a kiss on the cheek, lol he got a big ol' smile like a shy kid, it was in a dark club but I just know he turned red. Pac was so honest when highlighting issues, anger and affection. He never looked vicious or demeaning or vile. Such a good soul. There was an innocence in him which radiated and still radiates across generations. He was a great rapper for sure...but most importantly he was a good soul. RIP LEGEND. YOU ARE TRULY MISSED.

It still makes me mad all these years later that his life was snuffed out so soon and abruptly. The man had his demons as well do, he was working thru them and becoming the man he wanted and that the world needed. It really breaks my heart which I know is overplayed, but it really does, I think of the man he would be today, a voice to the youth and the old heads like me, bringing us together, and showing love and loyalty. RIP Pac..see you again in that better place.

The people who did write, it was a big deal and brought my spirits up. Getting a word from the free world made you feel important and loved.

I went to a wedding in Baltimore many years ago and all the reception and festivities were in the Hyatt Regency down by the inner harbor. We all stayed there. At some point during the soiree, someone from the wedding party got her purse snatched. Tony Danza just randomly happened to be staying at the hotel, and witnessed what transpired. He couldn't have been cooler, it was basically near checkout time on Sunday morning, but he stayed around to talk to the police and help out in any way he could. Danza couldn't have been nicer, to a bunch of random people. Incidentally, Baltimore is Tupac's hometown.
