This is what I hate about countries, because I can't even think a way out for the stabilization of the countries. And they have probably been screwed with by outsiders as well. It is heart warming when I see a leader with a healthy vision become leader. What I fear for us in America is that too much is being taken for granted, and that can become our future with the type of people we have in charge. They have a lot of information, but they are dumb as a box of rocks. They imagine themselves to be more intelligent than they are, and more intelligent than the people that actually keep the country going. It is in part true with the generation coming up that doesn't know how anything works. But we have plenty in congress and I government that are the same mentally as the before mentioned young ones. It becomes noticeable when you hear them speak about something you know about, and you realize they have researched nothing about it while legislating on it.

Decolonization and anticolonialism is their Achilles heel. With the size of the country and other contributing factors, lack of any real ability to be self sufficient, with their population, in this instance, decolonization isn't their friend. They need France for their bread basket or they have to have some sort of industrial work force and ability to break free of dependence on French colonialism. A true Democratic ability to govern, or they'll always be prone to civil wars and turmoil. Constant coupe de' etats. Colonialism was beneficial for some nations that have no protection from anarchy, communism or no industrial ability to support itself and break free and have independence. They'll likely always be impoverished and in danger of being overtaken, without ties and protection from France, they'll likely indefinitely, need to continue living under French Colonialism unless someone can develop some sort of sustaining industry and work force to support a population of that size on an island country. It's basically an endless welfare state dependent on French Colonialism.
