- This comment really caught me off guard but I’m actually really thankful for the thought process it sent me on! I love my social media and it’s been an incredible journey, but I think if I’m going to stay in it, and keep going strong I have to redefine what success means to me with it!

Your wrong, mainly because they aren't a seamstress... they're a designer, but I suppose if we actully look at these same looking and ready to wear dresses then yeah it is more like a seamstress (someone who simply sews things, not creating)

I appreciate how you didn't attack your viewer but instead used their consent as constructive criticism. You turned it into something positive instead of fueling more hate/anger or antagonizing them for more drama. I have seen way too many creators tag people in videos only to spread out the drama so this video was really wholesome to me.

Burnout is only natural, creativity isn't an unending stock that we can take out and use whenever we want. It's like a feeling, some days it just flows through our mind and body without even trying, and sometimes it's really hard to channel it. Like a feeling, it can't be forced. Personally, I feel like forcing myself to be productive with my creations on burnouts only make me feel bitter about it and almost see it as a burder. I just heard a dialogue in a show that really stuck out to me. It said, "You are allowed to take your time, what you can't afford is to waste is". It really helped me see a things a lot clearly.

What about a different taste? I started following him because of his passion for what he does, his voice and the shorts where he shows the making of. Most of the peaces he made are totally not my style tho and i wouldnt wear anything he makes. People have different taste after all
@@xristinarose2409 He creates works of art, and not all of his dresses are even meant to be worn (such as this one). The ones that are meant to be worn are for specific special occasions, often designed for one person in particular.
I love seeing his creations, but since I live off-grid on a goat ranch, there will never be an occasion for me to wear one of his creations.
When I was in my 20s (long ago) I worked for a designer and we made couture dresses and suits for wealthy women. I love watching him because it reminds me of what I used to do long before my health failed me.
It brought me great joy to create something beautiful from a piece of fine fabric and seeing a customer glow with happiness, knowing she had a unique dress to wear to the Cattleman's Ball, or whatever. (I'm from Dallas, the CB was a huge charity event attended by wealthy folks)

That's the difference. You can have different tastes and still appreciate someone's work and passion. People who insult someone's work because it doesn't appeal to their personal tastes are either egotistical or insecure.
Nothing about your artistry is ever boring!! Who would say anything like that about you or your art. Being a seamstress is not something that many people can understand the complexities of. There is so much that goes into each and every project that you personally create. Journaling is important, and this is why. Your 'score' is based on how many people you brought joy. Memory glides over successes to focus on flaws, like a stain in fabric. You are doing just fine and helping alot of people, good job!
