In this video you'll see, I'm converting my #RE #Himalayan bs4's #Tube-Type to #Tubeless wheels.

How can I meet you? I’m a part of RE rider group so it will be a good thing for Himalayan Riders.
A nicely descriptive video. And yes, it is a pity that enthusiasts like us have to do this job on our own, rather than RE give buyers an option of having TT or TL rims on the Himalayan.
A couple of questions from me, as I intend to invest in a bigger adv bike later in this year that, most infortunately, comes with only TT rims.
1. Seeing that this video is about 9 months old, how is the pressure holding up in the tyres? Ther would be some leakage obviously, but could you monitor as to how many PSI you need to fill, say, every week or every fortnight?
2. I did not see you do it so I presume that you tightened the spokes from inside the rim before you installed the sealent. This way, even the portion ABOVE the nipple is as tightly held against the rim as possible. And the spokes do not loosen up after hard off road riding.
3. In the intro, you mentioned that that the tyre gains alot of weight after the modification. Can you give a figure in terms of kgs, of a before and after scenario?
I do all normal serive jobs on my bike(s) that do not need specialised tools and have collected my own toolkit for the currently owned KTM 390 Adv. You might like to take a look at this video that I made for some young friends who were asking me lots of questions about tools on Whatsapp😀

As per your query :
now days i am on TT tyres ceat.
1) I ride 4k-5k without any problem, air drop 2-3 points in a week, every week,i checked.
2) Before apply silicon i do rim alignment from market. and after drying of silicon it is not easy that spoke will get loose.
3) rim is heavy, and after applying silicon layers wheel will get additional weight, handling is not comfortable.
Aapki query se mera doubt bhi clear ho gaya.mere pas kaza brown hai.mai isko karane wala tha.leki ab nahi karaunga.thnx boss

Thanks for your comments, ❤️ I used MRF tubeless tyre, now I am using tube type ceat tyre. My mrf tube less tyre works perfectly good that time , but the sealent we use make wheel more heavy. So I remove it, otherwise no problem on touring. If you want to apply sealent, then use betaseal 418 sealent, it is light weight and good. I am going to do this tube less conversion again soon.

THIS CONVERTION IS FOR TOURING ONLY, NOT FOR OFFROAD.
Yes this tubeless convertion is a complete success, but when you apply any of silicon paste on rim, rim gets additional weight, wheel gets heavy, and it effects motorcycle handling 5-10% harder, i ride converted wheels around 4k-5k kms, without any problem, any air leakge, any damage to wheel, but i was just pocking my mind that wheel is now heavy, my wheel is heavy, so i removed silicon paste from my spoke wheels, Bahut mushkil se hataya, ceat tube tyre is soft, and ride is now comfortable
1) yes installed ceat tubetyre after 5000 km.
2) 1 Abro 1000 is for 1 wheel., you can use Betaseal U400 it is very good then abro, local market price is rs400.
3)no need of sanding if you are installing MRF tubeless tyre, but if you are installing other soft rubber compound tyre then you have to sand it.

Singal ride kerta hu, but high speed main sahi chalata hai, or long rides ke liye to best hai ye.( MRF -3100 WITH OUT BILL)

Wheel ka weight jyada ho jata hai ye sab kwrne se, may be 5000 wale sealent se na hota ho. Mera to handle bhari ho gaya hai.
Interesting video. What is the success of this experiment? And have you experimented with puncture...like if the nail enters and scratches the silicon on the spoke point. How do you repair that scratch?
It is very much successfull, only con is that, wheels get extra weight becuse of silicon, otherwise do it without any tension.

Yes bro, mrf hi set baithega for its hard rubber, gets perfect wall siding.

I have remove all silicon , just to check comfort level of tyre, tyre hard ho jata hai., tube ke sath soft rehta hai.

No no , not at all, ache se pasting karo or kamse kam 3 din dry hone ke liye dena. Dry weather main achche se hoga. Uske baad,tension free.

Hi, bro ceat is soft tyre, so that is why mrf is must.
But Mr. Front tyre ka kya kare 21inch ka to tubless tyre bhi nh aata
Front is also done , channel per video hai.
Sir after this process can i use same type i.e OE fitment or i need to buy new tubeless tyres pl guide.
Hi, as per requirement of doing tubeless, we need a hard rubber tyre, and a factory fitted tyre is soft, and will not grip the rim, that is why mrf tyre is used.

Tubeless and tube wale tyre main kitna comfort hota hai, ye janna tha, isliye main silicon ko hata ker bike chalaya hai, bike ka comfort tube tyre main zyada achchha hai.

valve wala part cut kerna padega fir valv lagane ke baad ustne part per firse silicon laga ker ready kerna padega.

Faced No puncture, MRF tyre is so strong ,don't worry.

Sir is it safe for little amount of roads adventure what ever comes across the ladakh or sikkim regions . I mean nominal potholes and bad roads
Yes , absolutly safe, use betaseal silicon for best ressult Rs 400/- per tube, 2tube is enough.

Tyres width is a bit more then oem, i think it is not possible that, it will fit and move your wheel.

Hello Sir , great video .. I want to get this done on my interceptor .. can you please tel me from where I can get this done ?
It is so much easy on interceptor, you can use beta seal 480 sealent for interceptor, price of sealent in market rs 600 per bottle, no one can do it better then yourself, remove tyre, clean surface, apply sealent, let it dry, attach tyre, check leakage, and tadaa... Done.
@@myridesonroads sir I think it is easier said than done .. I havedone quite a few things on my bike myself .. but this looks like a bigger deal .. I am thinking of using loctite 596 and 290 ( thread
locker ) .. how much does the rims consume of the solution ? And can you suggest a good shop where I can get this done ?

You need 2 bottels of sealent .If you are spending on loctite, then buy 3m marine grade silicon sealant, it is light in weight. My pleasure, how can i help you.

Absolutely, same tubeless procedure, but puncture hone per loaded bike nahi chalani, jab tyre baith jaye to nahi chalani.

I was in tension ke Tyre fit hoga ke nahi,or tyre wala bhi, bada famous hai salo purana or ye kaam ker diya usne, batao.

Tube type, i will suggest you to do this only in rear wheel, if you done to front wheel, it will make your handle so heavy.
