    A comment from the USA - what is numbering in regard to movies? As an American, I have no idea what is meant by movies and their "numbering". It might be something you have in India and we don't in the US, or it is something we call by another word, but I can't think of what it would be.

    • @TheLiteratureLife
      @TheLiteratureLife  2 года назад +4

      We refer the term 'numbering' to the credits dispalyed on the screen after the film ends.
      Come to think of it, it is not numbering at all! Thanks for bringing my attention to this.
      On an additional note, this is a perfect example of how concepts change terminology and meaning according to the context of geographical and cultural shifts. 😀

    Thank you Madam, can deconstruction be used in comparison of binaries in different texts, where the two literary texts have two opposing ideas, you wish to compare.

    • @TheLiteratureLife
      @TheLiteratureLife  2 года назад +2

      Well, it depends, I think.
      If the texts are used as different or conflicting voices under a particular philosophical, literary or other tradition, you can show how the texts challenge the stable and uniform image of the tradition. In my view, however, the narrower the text to be deconstructed, the more challenging but more rewarding it is. For example, comparing two texts to deconstruct a tradition would not be wrong, but deconstructing a piece of poetry to show internal contradictions and the impossibility of a final, stable meaning would be more rewarding.
      My answer here is, of course, limited to my knowledge and reason. Further discussion with people with a firm grasp on literary theory will certainly help clarify this more.
      Many thanks for your comment. 😊🙏
