It took 30 minutes for you to become my new favorite reselling RUclipsr 🔥. Thanks for the content to binge on and value in these videos! Hope you make many nickels in your YT career! ❤.
Thank you for saying that. I can't believe I am somebody's favorite at something, that is so awesome! Thank you for taking the time to comment and thanks for the support it goes a long way for me.
It never ceases to amaze me how many sellers simply refuse to take sell thru rate into consideration. Great video! Thanks for taking the time to make it. Kathleen
Great video as always! Thank you for doing all the leg work. Wanted to mention an interesting tidbit. Sulka (also makes ties) was worn by Winston Churchill and his favorite brand was Turnbull & Asser which is obviously another great dress shirt brand. Again thank you for the video!
Adding Maceoo Paris to your list! And cheers re: auctions! I have done incredibly well with Burberry as long as it's plaid and in very good condition. $155 and up each time and in less than two months. One sold in a matter of seconds. I sell Robert Graham all the time as long as it's a substantial pattern. $115 and $75 and up. Sold a Varvatos sweater in two weeks for $125, sold a Hugo Boss sweater within 2 hours of listing it for a negotiated price of $50 - only cost me $7. Just sayin'! If it's in great condition and a good looking piece by these brands, it sells. Also sold a Varvatos bandana that was brand new - overnight. Listed it, woke up to it sold for $40.
I sell sweaters and other clothing by all those brands too. This video is only about dress shirts specifically. As far as dress shirts go, Hugo Boss and John Varvatos are not good buys if you look at the sales data on Ebay. Of course there are always exceptions. That's awesome you are finding Robert Graham shirts that sell for $75 - $115. Those are not easy to come by. Burberry does have pieces that sell better than others like their signature plaid does, but when the sell through across the whole brand on dress shirts is under 20%, I have to call it trash haha. I should do a video on all the exceptions that I did not mention here. Thanks for pointing this out, now I have another video idea. Congrats on your good finds too!
Thanks so very much for simplifying the sell-thru rate. Thank you for another wonderful video for making things that are easy to understand and comprehend without the normal RUclips eBay self-promotion. Must appreicted.
Love your videos and humor. Have to agree with all your assessments on the brands. I do, however, pick up Brooks Brothers with the following caveats: must be at least 2XL or larger; have a pattern; and no more than $3 (my thrift store doesn't mark these up because there's tons of them). They usually flip within a month for about $20-25.
@@L.RoweFischer regent fit i think has a better STR but it doesnt sell for as much as other fits/styles. from my experience at least. lotting up BB does very well for me. the standard Blue, white, and pink solid oxfords do extremely well also.. $20+ shipping all day
I have to thank you! I found my first Jhane Barnes thanks to you. I had never heard of this brand before. Apparently neither had any of the other shoppers. I was able to buy it for the mark down 50% off. It had been in this busy thrift for at least a month.
That's awesome! Killer find. You found one of the exceptions to the rule. Most of the bland normal stuff takes a very long time to sell. Thanks for the comment I appreciate you being here!
That's not uncommon. I think there are many resellers doing much worse. It will get much better as you become more selective about what you buy. Good luck!!
Dude knows his stuff...ty for sharing!!
Thank you for watching! I appreciate the support and the comment!

I’m a dying laughing at Buck Masonite and “pile of cloth.” Your videos are awesome! One of my favorite RUclipsrs! 😊
haha it's 'Bucky Mc Masonite' if we are being sticklers. Thank you so much for being here I appreciate the compliment.
This was a free education with screenshots. You are a kind and giving man. Thank you.
Thank you for the support I really appreciate it.

It's very important. Sometimes I will get lower STR stuff if its super cheap and can make me good money though.
Thank you for your videos. I appreciate the information and the dry humor.
Thanks for watching! Hope to see you on the next one!
Love your content! Thanks for sharing your wealth of knowledge!

Nice! I did not know that about Sulka or Churchill. Interesting trivia. Thanks for the support!
Your level of knowledge is just incredible! Thank you for sharing all of this! I cant wait to get back out shopping!
Thank you for watching and commenting. Good luck out there!
Thank you so much! I’ll be thrifting in Texas during spring break and I need to know these brands! Im quite sure I will run across these!
Some of the trash brands are still worth getting if you are desperate, just be ready to under cut the market for a quick flip. Good luck!!

Great tip. I buy the big sizes too, only regent fit, and only linen or flannel hahah. Good ol Brooks Bros.

The colorful ones and especially the silk ones do very well. Some of the normies won't sell very well though. Good luck hope you get at least 25!

Wow thank you so much probably one of the best video on RUclips in my opinion
Thank you for the sub, it really helps. I have some more deep dives on the schedule. Hope you like them!
Subscribed! keep up videos like this. much appreciated
Thanks for the sub and the comment and for taking the time to watch. I truly appreciate it!
The brand I didn’t see that I believe is around 40% sell through but goes for a lot of money is Tom Ford whenever I’ve found it, sells pretty quickly.
Tom Ford was on my data sheet but didn't get any screen time. I never find it, that's great you do. It does go for some good dolorians.
i love vuori shorts for myself and to resell. everytime i explain the brand to friends or family i just tell them its like a new lululemon
Yeah, it's great stuff. Like Lulu but not too cool to put a content tag in the item haha
Love your content. Real usable information. Just wanted to say thank you 🙏
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching and commenting!

42 is the chest size. Similar to suiting sizing. Otherwise liking the brand info
Thanks! Appreciate it!
Daaaaamn I saw a State and Liberty last week and couldn’t figure out what it was.
Yeah they are slippery little sh*ts hahahh. Now you know to grab em. Thank you for the sub and for your support I really appreciate it!!
Dorleans is the new crypto. Thanks again!

@@L.RoweFischer we'll be classy and call it "D'Orleans"
You do such a great job with high STR deep dive…nice!🔥
Thank you! Cheers! Hope to see you on the next one!
I just sold a Taylor Stitch shirt today. 55 Ducats.
hell yeah! Can I get a round of applause$$$$
Ermahgerd Zegna! 🙃
Makes me sad. One of my favorites for years.
**clicks play on video**
bro.... do you do graphic design work? I have jobs I need to hire you for.
Haha I just use Canva, no skillz.
My sell through rate is 11% 😂

The real question is “NICHE” pronounced “NITCH” or “NEESH”?
I usually hear UK folks say neesh but lots of yanks say nitch. I think neesh sounds too fancy haha. thanks for watching!
