Wow…though the interviewer was shallow and almost insulting in the way he accuses SRK of self obsession, I love how cleverly SRK answered him without loosing his cool. When faced with criticism, he builds himself up with humour. Kudos 👏🏽

In fact you are right; he is a big superstar and has had numerous achievements, and I don't have any problem with that. But what you said about some stars bringing others down is something that I don't believe. The biggest stars in Bollywood like Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay, Ajay never do such things. Salman and Aamir are better than Shahrukh actually. Salman is the real record-breaking superstar. Shahrukh is quite overrated.
@@Zomiander8124 I agree sometimes he does to much. But if you tell me that Salman Khan doesn’t boast and doesn’t bring people down it’s untrue. He is so mean and arrogant towards many many big names in the industry. Take Arijit Singh for example. I was shocked how rude he was to him. And that’s just one of them. He treats everybody like they are inferior to him.Instead SRK kneeled down in front of Arijit and called him a legend. So he is definitely more humble than Salman bcoz he acknowledges other people’s talent. Then again you have your opinion and I have mine.

On the contrary, he has said there are bigger stars than me in India and when a reporter asked him whether he should be called the new king, he said that there is one already and he doesn't have a problem with that. So don't tell that he boasts. As for the other thing, it was Arijit's fault. He insulted Salman first, that's why Salman got angry. Arijit shouldn't have insulted Salman; he's more than 20 years elder than him. It's a normal thing that Salman got angry when a junior insulted him. Shahrukh respected Arijit because he also respected Shahrukh. And Arijit is not a legend. Shahrukh didn't call him a legend. He maybe a star, but not a legend. Now then, don't tell Salman destroyed Vivek. It wasn't Salman's work that destroyed Vivek. Salman is the biggest legend. You people hate him for no reason. He and Amitabh never boast about themselves or get jealous of anyone. Aamir is also good now, although he also quite boasted about himself in those Ghajini days, but that was also becuz of Shahrukh.

What I used to like about this couple in their earlier films was their simplistic chemistry. There was no over the top make up trying to make Kajal look fairer than she is. No Shahrukh acting like he was tired of speaking the same romantic lines for decades. They were both fresh and untainted by massive fame and star power which is why we remembered their characters more than them. Now Shahrukh seems to be bored to death when speaking his dialogues specially romantic ones and Kajol acts like a made up doll. Their priority is no longer their acting. I know a lot of fanboys and fangirls will get offended but Shahrukh ceased to be an actor as soon as he became a superstar.

Fully agreed. Only with Kajol the chemistry is WOW. I cant find the same brilliance with other actresses that I find with Kajol. Their movies always do better outside India because they are world class standard whereas Indians have different taste with Indian standard. Sometimes crappy movies do better in India then world class movie like Dilwale, which did so well at international level even breaking record of Star Wars in the Gulf. In some countries it was at 2nd place in the blockbuster chart but Indians tried to downgrade it.
