Bouncing Zephrys back to hand would have been easy lethal as well with the likes of Fireball and Lava Burst.

It's funny how N'Zoth into multiple Sludge Belchers (or Khartut Defenders now) was always a surprising counter to Jade Druid. They just can't get through the walls.
There was a Tavern Brawl some time back that had you select 10 cards, and you got 2 copies of each. I played a N'zoth sludge belcher combo deck that filled the board every turn with 6 belchers, and had armor gain, so you literally couldn't attack through, and you couldn't out burn me.;)
Big minions are scary until there forced to attack 1/2 taunts every turn lol

Let's be realistic, the decks that actually play Elise currently are mostly meme decks. Elise is quite hard to play right now because many people are playing relatively fast decks. You'll hardly get the chance to play her for enough value. But even relatively poor cards can get a buff or usefulness through other means (future expansions).
You know what would make overflow good? If it did 5 dmg gave 5 armor drew 5 cards and summoned a 5/5
It'd probably have to cost a few more mana, though, and be put straight into Wild so it doesn't dominate Standard.
@@dansaunders1655 it didnt dominate standard when it was in it. was always strange to me, so many druid burned cards with it.

Bloodlust was worse than alex in your situation. Bloodlust did 3×5 =15 damage. Alex did 15 damage and gave you an 8/8.
Costs more though
But bloodlust gave you 3 spare mana to hero power naturalize for lethal

@@MetalKenna66 I don't think naturalize was lethal though right? @15:04 he's at 7 hp. Naturalize allows him to draw 2 + the 1 he draws at the start of his turn. He's at his first turn of fatigue so it's 1+2+3=6, not 7.

You could just play Zola on Zephrys and get fireball/lavaburst and kill him.
I am not sure if he works this way. I don't think he takes the possibility of replaying himself into account.

He had lethal the turn ago too, first use naturalize to do 1+2 damage and hero power for another 3 bringing down enemy to 30, now use zephyr get bloodlust for 14(minion damage)+15(from bloodlust) to deal 29 bringing to 1 hp and then pass to let the final fatigue tick of 3 damage kill him
King Bling well spotted, but I don’t think zephrys would ever give bloodlust if it didn’t get lethal on the same turn. In other words I don’t think zephrys accounts for automatic actions that will happen at the start of your opponent’s turn when suggesting options for ‘the perfect card’.

I suppose, obviously, that Zephrys is coded to give you the best card, not literally only the card which guarantees lethal, and a "5 mana - deal a shit ton of damage" is often going to be the best card for you even if it doesn't get lethal, so that makes sense.
@@joshburns1777 ya in case u cnt achieve lethal by any means it goes for the next best option to maximize effectiveness of the situation, it can offer bloodlust incase u have smaller n weaker minions while enemy has stronger or buffer minions to make trump trade with it

missed potential lethal with zephrys. hero power face into naturalize into zephrys bloodlust. with the fatigue tick it would have been lethal. dunno if zephrys can count on that but the opponent would have been at 30 after hero power naturalize and he had 14 on board. bloodlust would have been 29. I wonder...

Zephris just missed lethal bcs with bloodlust you could heropower and naturalize, but zephris doesn't count fatigue'damages
In that situation (opponent full health and 5 friendly minions on board), Alexstraza was the same amount of damage as Bloodlust, but also gave an 8/8 body.
14:32 Naturalize first, heropower, zephris into bloodlust was the good order to lethal imo

It's awesome that you got lethal the way you did but I feel like you could've also done it by playing Zola on the Zephrys to get Fireball or Lava Burst since Zephrys would see that and should offer it to you unless I'm wrong. Although I wouldn't have seen the lethal the way you did lol so there's that

@UCTxuUzmvUY0G6qJ24Uq_E3g There were multiple ways with Zephyr. Like mass dispel o lava burst, or as you said fireball. Even cabal maybe would have worked.

@@marsovac Cabal wouldn't have worked due to mana restrictions if Zola cost 3 and Zeph cost 2. The other options would've worked

It didn't offer bloodlust because both bloodlust and alex do 15 damage and it probably wanted to give you an 8/8.

does zeph account for opponents taking fatigue damage at the start of their next turn when giving choices? if he does it should've offered bloodlust on that turn around 14:30 if you naturalized and hero powered first
No he doesn't, he only looks at the board state, Mana Crystals and number of cards in both hands.
Could Kun be a replacement for Twig? Because honestly I just don't feel like investing 1600 dust for twig and I already have Kun. Maybe even slap in a Jepetto to draw a 1 cost Kun?

It seems strange Nzoth resurrects two Khartut defenders with reborn. Two copies with deathrattle died so I get having two minions, but why the second reborn?
Cause the copy without reborn that died is also a Kharthut Defender. Resurrectung minion brings the back at their normal state (else Big Priest wouldn't be cancer).
Think of Reborn as Divine Shield.

As a DMH warrior main, I'm forced to run geist. Luckily it also helps against other decks like combo priest.

You're misplaying Zephrys for Bloodlust. You should play him on 7 mana so he gives you bloodlust

Zephyrs missed lethal. Bloodlust was 15 damage 5 mana + zeph to make it 7 mana, 14 damage on board plus hero power for 2 mana totals 9 mana and 32 damage leaving opponent at 4 health and one mana remaining. Naturalize a jade and opponent dies to fatigue.
Zephrys doesn’t read hands, the most he reads is hand size for mountain giant
If Zeph looked at the hand and gave the best card for that it would get nerfed in no time. It might get nerfed even like this :D
