Nope. That won't help her. She needs effective knowledge. Why not use some of her inheritance to get her some consultations toward strategy with money. If you don't, shell burn through the money and still be left without the knowledge. Once she makes herself more successful, you can do an equal split later between both kids. Taking it from one is a bad approach, right off the start.
Let her earn it. Put her money in trust with your lawyer and stipulate how she can access it. "Free spirit" usually means avoiding responsibility, and accountability. Give her some, sure. But if she wants the rest, she needs to do her part, pull her wright, and show she isn't going to be left with nothing. Ever seen what happens to lottery winners when they get a huge sum? See what I'm sayin'?
From one dad to another. He is not that wise, I get the you love your child but be smart about it. If she is a screw up how will she not screw up the inheritance? At least put it all in son's hand and have him assist her from responsible point of view instead oh having her blow it all up in weeks to come.

Why would this father give most of his money to the loser daughter. All it’s going to do is enable her. Best he should do is put this in a trust for her so she doesn’t squander her inheritance.
