I bet you could take that last solid square & use it at the bottom as a tree trunk. Love this concept & I'm thinking on ways I might be able to make other shapes using the same concept.
Wow, they are absolutely BRILLIANT. What a fantastic idea. And they look beautiful. Thank you for your clever idea. Julia Cassidy from Nottingham England.
Loved this card Sam. Like you said, its got such a unique look to it. Easy to make and fabulous to look at. Unfortunately I don't possess a square set of dies...but I have a cunning plan. Some ready cut out pieces in a pad. Concentric circles, with fancy cut edges and there are squares. 👏 I've just never used them so far, for much. Well I'll be hunting those out and trying this with those. Yes and while I'm at it, invest in getting some dies of the square variety. Circles I have, ovals I have. Good excuse to go shopping for goodies....any excuse, I'll take it. Xxx
Stunning . Not sure if I’d make into an easel card but either way it’s a great use of layering sq dies . I’m a yr behind you but will be doing this for Christmas 2022 !
I Love, love, love your scraps videos! You took the simple card and bumped it up a few notches. It really is sharp. Thank you for all your hard work and generous heart sharing.
Absolutely marvellous Sam!!! How delightfully clever!!!! Up until now I haven’t been very pleased about seeing Christmas crafts popping up all over so soon, but this really does take the “Christmas Cake” and makes me smile.
What a beautiful card! You were right. It does make the perfect easel card. I just have to figure out now how to incorporate this tree with using your puppet collection. That would be cool. Thank you for sharing!
That would be cool. I would make the tree and then use the puppet mechanism as a template over the top, so you can mark the holes and then punch them out separately and then attach the puppet. I hope that makes sense. 😁
This is such a cool way to make a card. I really love the all green one and the felt letters are such a good way to add a sentiment. Thanks for sharing such a good tutorial.
wow i love how you finished your tree off, i love the font used for merry christmas, again thank you for sharing you have brought my love for card making back as i was having a bit of a block x
You could, but you will just stick it straight down, I only placed it first for the video, also we don’t have that in the Uk and the few places who import it, it’s expensive.
Hi Sam, I love this tree. We made it in a workshop that I was helping with last weekend, I added a gold square at the top to look like a star, the I added a merry Christmas to the center, some of the people actually did the bottom part first as they found it easier. 5hanks for the card idea using this tree xx
Thanks for the reply it’s trying to get the dies an equal space apart that caused me problems ? Don’t think my eyes are good enough it may be an age thing x
Beautiful Christmas tree card Sam! It's unique and sparkly, and that bold sentiment is perfect. Love this so much! Thanks for sharing this great tutorial. 👍💖
Hi Sam ,are the Merry Christmas die your own brand and where do I get them from please. I just love your cards and watching your tutorials, not complicated to do at all and so effective and beautiful.
Hi Sam I made this card with the other video, but had trouble making sure the squares were equal distance is there any tips ? It still turned out lovely thank for being so creative and sharing
Equal distance? You are laying each one over the other, so the distance is done for you, there is no measuring needed, you just follow the square you first lay down.
Sam will they be getting your set of Woodland creatures sliding dies and stamps back in? I went to buy them and they were completely gone. Your stuff sales really fast. I’m from the US and it takes much longer to get it. I also want to get the alphabet f they still have them.
Great card! Most anyone would love to receive this novel card.
love this card. I did the tree on green card otherwise the same for the rest. love it
You are talented and hardworking Sam!
I don't have a nest of square dies so I used triangles and it worked the same.

In wonder if you could use press n seal to lift up the tree when you first put it together and add the glue🤔. Cute easel card. TFS
You could, but you will just stick it straight down, I only placed it first for the video, also we don’t have that in the Uk and the few places who import it, it’s expensive.

Hi Betty, you can use any size you like, just make sure your largest square is no bigger than the width of your card blank.
Hi Sam I made this card with the other video, but had trouble making sure the squares were equal distance is there any tips ? It still turned out lovely thank for being so creative and sharing
