The Astros on HSE. It didn’t get any better for me as a kid.

No place more fun to watch baseball than in the Astrodome:)

As a Browns fan who watched football in the 80's I thought the Astrodome was a sweet environment for football as well.

As a Chicago Cubs fan, I hated the Astrodome because it always felt that they always got clobbered there.

Eric Davis was a superstar. What a talent. Hank Aaron - like bat speed

Bill Brown said, just before Craig Biggio stepped in leading off the bottom of the 1st, that the Reds can regroup for "next year" if they get healthy. They ended up winning the World Series in 1990 lol

I have been telling everyone that Pete Rose deserves credit for putting the World Championship 1990 Reds Team together. Lou Piniella stepped into a Championship Team i a similar fashion when Jack McKeon did it with the Florida Marlins the year after leaving the Reds.

One of the most talented players I have ever seen when healthy. Nothing he could not do on a baseball field.

Difference between 1989 and 2019? Even though the Pete Rose gambling scandal is full blown at the time of this game, Bill Worrell keeps it baseball related regarding Pete Rose. He mentions that he's had issues on and off the field. But he didn't elaborate the off-field issues. In 2019, everyone wants to Jerry Springer up sports.

It's funny the Bills talked about the dome and how great it is and a few years later, after Drayton bought the team, everyone started complaining about the dome.

always thought afternoon games in the dome were better that night....it was just awesome with the sunlight and a/c

So nice to watch a game and not see a dozen billboards behind home plate

I hope for Astros fans' sake that Cabell's career in the booth was very short lived.
