    It could start off with how many men is in a battalion i.e. 750 men, the sub unit figures are a tad confusing

    Was the wpns company D company like in modern battalions or just simply hvy wpns company and would that make the 2nd Bns company’s DEF or EFGH?

      Good question! The heavy weapons company was indeed called D-company in the first battalion. So that would make 2nd battalion's companies EFGH, H being their heavy company.
