Do it, I don’t recommend the eBay kit though piece together parts and make your own kit , my channel purposefully showed the cheap wrong way to do things last year this year I am doing it properly , I am trying to teach people so that they don’t make the same mistakes over and over
looks pretty good, why world you prefer a haltech dash? Looking at both for myself I can't see where the extra money goes in the haltech? this seems more customisable?
@@TURBOTRISTO oh so more of an aesthetic this. correct me if I'm wrong but this dash seams more customisable than the haltech, although a little less polished. seems like with the haltech you are stuck with customising stock screens and can't make your own although I haven't used the their software or verified this.
The brand and the speed and the slimness and the ease of use, this one is awesome though and has features the haltech doesn’t like gps lap times and 0-100 0-400m
You can call them Directly and they can do it, but I connected a mouse to mine go into the settings and turn on the gps for the speedo and the rpm is from the ecu
Hey Tristan, I am having this problem with my coolant temperature which keeps fluctuating. Happened after the rebuild, I have changed the fan sensor, thermostat and even upgraded to a dual layer radiator and bled the cooling system well to avoid any air pocket with new silicone hoses. I am currently using vitara pistons 75.5mm, maxspeeding rods, oe bearings, supertech blockguard. So upsetting 🥵
How, I mean for fucks sake, how do people have the audacity to sell a raspberry pi(20$) with a case and screen (another 20$) with a carberry hat (95$) for 810$aud!? 😡😡 I like the dash don't get me wrong, but it's just a raspberry pi with a hat they made in eagle or something 🙈
I love it bro I might have been naive about the components but it’s still 1/3 of the price of a haltech or motec dash and it looks awesome I’m very happy with it
@@TURBOTRISTO yes absolutely, through the video I loved it too, and by all means it's cheaper as you say than a haltech. I don't really "blame" people who buy it, I might have done so myself if I couldn't be bothered programming it. (although there probably is an open source dash too somewhere) BUT it would leave a sour taste in my mouth at the same time, knowing what profit margins they make. I just want some decency in this world 😅 I just don't like peole ripping people of because they can, you could probably sell a bottle of water for a thousand bucks to someone dying of dehydration, it doesn't mean that it's moral, nor that water is worth a thousand bucks 😅

Just so things match up haltech dash haltech ecu that’s the only reason other wise it’s awesome

so i started upgrading my interior. whats the main difference between haltech and powertune dash?
Haltech dash is much higher quality and faster to boot up and react, the power tune dash has some cool gimmicks

brother help me connect that same cluster in my ex I don't know how to connect it I bought the car like this but the rpm and mph don't work
