Oi, you're right ya git! On that note, I have always wanted to see a 40K/Gundam crossover, with Ork-manufactured mobile suits made from looted parts. Would very much imagine them as being the Junk Guild but a lot cruder engineering-wise.
Its based somewhat in Operation Greif by the Germans to try and disrupt the Allies in WW2, The Germans disguised English Speaking Soldiers as Americans and gave them Panther Tanks Disguised as M10 tank Destroyers, however because the Germans got confused themselves and because the Americans caught on to their poor disguises it didn't last long and the Units made to partake in the Operation just got reverted to normal units, but it did cause panic in the Allied side.
One thing was bothering quite a while: why didn't Char get himself Zudah at some point? I mean this suit were perfect for him: high speed and high risk of exploding really suits suicidal nature of OYW Char
In Gundam Breaker 3, the Zudah can engage the Saturn engine for increased boost speed. When the thrusters had been depleted, it could continue to boost at the expense of durability. When durability was totally spent, the unit would explode. Neat, huh?
There's an exploit involving the DLC and C-Funnels that allows you to enter a transformation state that runs off the C-Funnel Option gauge, and with the right setup, runs at 0 cost. Most of the time this effect only lets you boost cancel where you couldn't before and unlock movesets and part functions that only work while in that transformation state, but for the rarer abilities that add an additional effect - like the Saturn Engine and the Boost from Hit Points thing - canceling them into the C-Funnel transform lets you _retain the effects._
Ahhh the Zudah, the Zaku I's overshadowed and highly volatile sibling. Although... Imagine that, in an alternate timeline, BOTH the Zudah and Zaku could be seen fighting alongside each other.

Exactly! We have a what-if story where the Gyan gets chosen over that of the Gelgoog, therefore why not a what if story where the Zudah was chosen over that of the Zaku. The Zudah therefore then is further refined into a mass produced version which drops the tempermentel engine for a more less tried and proven design. This Zudah would then be used as Zeon's mainstay unit through the first months of the One Year War. Though some models would still use the original engine just with a limiter installed. For the record: the comparison would be best between the Messerschmitt Bf 109 and the Heinkel He 112. The He 100, confusingly, was designed after the He 112 lost out to the Bf 109 and Heinkel was looking to take a quantum leap past his former foe. What is very on brand for the Zudah, though, is that the He 100, used for airspeed records, was lashed up in squadron configuration as a propaganda measure. Hence the He 113 destination.
Worth mentioning that Messerschmitt's world record holder, the Me 209, was also made up to look like a service aircraft for propaganda purposes and even "redesignated" the Me 109R to convince the Allies that the Me 109 had suddenly evolved alarmingly. The truth was that the Me 209 was built strictly as a racer, and the addition of service equipment, which was tried, killed the aircraft's performance, making it no faster than the then-current Me 109E. Even more confusingly, the Me 209 designation would later be used in 1943 to refer to a prototype of an actual projected replacement for the Me 109. Sometimes called the Me 209 II, it did actually fly, but never really went anywhere.
That and also the bit about the Zudah being "upgraded" but its main issue being unsolved is in general a German WW2 issue, for example the Transmition of the Big Cats being faulty, the Engine of the Elefant catching fire, And the Camouf is based on Operation Grief Panthers made to look like an M10 Tank Destroyer, curtosy of Otto Skorzeny an interesting figure in himself that is almost as insane as Char Aznable in Gundam in the way he flips sides.

11:15 Didn't the Federation's Semovente Squad (Lead by Federico Czariano) use captured Zaku II ground types to blow up and destroy Zeon arms/ammo caches? And only to be stopped by the 603rd's use of the Hildolfr mobile tank? That's like how during the second world war Otto Skorzeny was tried for conducting false flag operations during the battle of the bulge but was later aquitted as the Allies admitted to doing the very same kind of false flag operations.
Not entirely sure if the Zakus were part of a false flag operation, since that story happened before the Federation had much, if anything, in the way of mobile suits. It seems more like they were using stolen Zeon suits out of necessity, as they probably couldn't do much with just the handful of tanks they had brought with them.
They were still considered 'false flag' because they effectively left Zeon symbols (or at least colors) and coloring on them to appear as allies before attacking. If they were using them to sneak into bases and steal things without giving themselves away, that would be one thing. But they were actively walking right up to enemies and then purposely attacking. Zudah’s that overachiever who gets the top scores of his class until that one day where he ends up in an unfortunate accident. Meanwhile the Zaku I is a wholesome well-rounded individual who made it to the top following the Zudah’s fall from grace. Alternatively, if Gundam was a shonen anime, the Zudah would be the guy who becomes a villain because he had serious beef with the Zaku I which can be covered in an extensive flashback while they’re in the middle of engaging in fisticuffs.
Hey Kakarot I just wanted to say that i'm glad you're still making content, you're my favorite gundam channel and hope that your passion will carry you through tough times.
For me, the best and cheap way for the Zudah to be usable is to add a "bailout" system on the MS, similar to ejection seats found in military aircraft.

I'm so happy that you covered the GM Camouf in this video. I first saw it's design in GBO2 and almost instantly relized how many design aspects it shares with the Zudah. The plus shaped visor, lower arms and legs, feet, and waist all have a very Zudah inspired look in my opinion. Also, the use of the anti ship rifle also made me think they must of had some kind of connection to be using such similar loadouts (in GBO2, the GM Camouf has similar primaries to the Zudah, as well as a sturm faust as a sub weapon.). Amazing video. I've always loved this series and how in depth you go into the lore of these suits, even if there is little information about them. Fun fact! The GM Camouf is most likely based on the German "Ersatz" Panther tanks from ww2 that were painted to look like American tank destroyers, but would ultimately prove unsuccessful due to looking very obviously like German panthers, and a shortage of German tank crews who could also speak english convincingly.
Very cool vid, also side fun fact that unit operating fake and captured GMs is also I think a nod to a similar Operation conducted by the Germans during the battle of the Bulge. The Operation required far more enemy armor then the Germans had on hand so they disguised a Panther to look like a M10 Tank Destroyer, much like the Zeon ones however these units were of dubious use, and I THINK at least one was taken out by friendly forces.

you know, if Zeonic hadn't repeatedly interfered with the mass production of the Zudah's, they would've been given the chance to be on the battlefield by now.
The GM Camouf showed its glory in GBO2, along with the zudah and the zudah f.
I love using zudah u can really make that thing move
@@dragoontype00alphaz19 ??? What do you mean by "make that thing move" ?
@@andrewac1096 I sort of pit ton movability mods on it so it a literally ballistic missile now
Development history is definitely my favorite part of this channel. It's always cool to learn how suit lines improved or were changed for different situations, learn their flaws and any models that aren't widely know.
They are so fun to watch.
Learning about ms variants is always fun
@@phantom_xrd It makes them feel like actual military vehicles with modifications for certain tasks and experimental prototypes.
Imagine Char with his 3x Zudah. So fast he'd break reality
Hell yeah, the Zudah! It's one of my favorite mobile suits!
Too fast for the Gm’s eyes! Zudah the mechahog! ( and there’s even a black suit to boot so there’s a shadow)
10:40 I agree with you there. Too many coincidences would have to perfectly occur for all of the conditions of this mobile suits existence to be met.
Thank you for your content! Surprised you don't have more. You're a must for gundam fans in my opinion. One if the channels I always watch before sleeping and during my lunch break so thank you. Been awhile since I watched and so glad you're still going strong. Thank you! Keep up the great work. You provide good content man
I'm so happy that you covered the GM Camouf in this video.
I'm looking forward to which suit/machine you're going to cover next.
Funny thing is I'm doing a fan fiction based on Kakarot's old what if amuro got the Alex series and my main character for the first stretch of the story pilots a successor unit to the Zudah, the Zudah 2 which is basically its development line's Zaku 3 equivalent aka a bigger more badass machine
Where you post it ? Seem interesting fan fiction
@@bobbylesmana229 Gundam Amino I've only finished the prologue I'm calling it Gundam Butterfly referring to both the Butterfly effect and a mobile suit that will show up late into the story.
Some other changes to this timeline and events I have planned are....
Haman doesn't become the cold dictator she is in main UC due to the event of CDA being prevented as she had a difrent bodyguard, Amuro gets the Gundam MK3 and Jerad the Gundam MK5, the earth Titans will change their organization Name to that of the Olympians, Scirocco will give Glemy a push and sport to start his rebellion in Neo Zeon causing things to get drgaed out into a three year conflict, Kamille gets captured by the Titans and taken to a newtype lab where he meets Four and is forced to pilot the Psycho Gundam to keep her safe, Fa dies trying to rescue Kamille which sends him and the Psycho MK2 on a rampage destroying Kilmanjaro, the gundam team will join my main Character's team after the Titans nuke Shangri-la, and a few other crazy ideas
my Main Character's mobile suits will be the Zudah 2,Dijeh(on earth), the Great Zeong(for the second half of Glemy's rebellion), ZII for the first half of the second year before giving it to Kamille who by this point has been freed from the Titans, a Hayku Shiki Kai, and final for the final stretch the Butterfly Gundam (best described as a combination of the Moon gundam and a Nu Gundam prototype),
@@demi-fiendoftime3825 boy oh boy it's just a prologue and already neat!! Also will in this story even more darker than the original series and are you gonna insert more unit that made in the 'what if' time line? (Example the Gyan MS varian)
sorry for my bad English :v
@@bobbylesmana229 Alot of MSV Zeta variants and a few original ideas. Also yes its going to be darker Patimus gets the earth federation's counsel to sign over ruling power to him then he gasses them
Thank you! i hunted the kit for months and finally got it late last year. Zudah bois where ya at? Oh wait, we already went kaboom..
Watching this video, it makes me wonder. How would the Zudah compare to the Bugu.
Omg! I cant wait this videos. May be some day you can release one about the Gaera Dogga, Gaera Zulu and the fed Gustav.
Thank you for this kakarot wishing you a great day
agile menancing and fast.
Now i want one to paint in red.
No particular reasons
In my school vr game the Zudah is a unit in the imagine order mobile suit closet or iomsc for short and the Zudah is a very unique unit where in a cutseen where after the Penelope odisios gundam had escaped the Zudah and GM camouf were deployed in a chase and after the Penelope odisios gundam boss fight both of them landed and saluted and goalius was going to fight the boss primus and commence operation unity all of them Lind up in rows of patients like Zudah GM Zudah GM exect all of them exsploded do to goalius Sher footprints and walking and Wright being 90000 tons and a whopping 55 meters tall and one more thing the friendly fire problem was something else where the neo zeon units zakus saw goalius and shattered glass shadow cat ( sg shattered glass is a mirror universe) were trying to get to the heartstone and the zakus opened fire ultimately mortality wounded sg SC and crippled Goalius by a Zudah surside slammed into him bursting a secondary brain and yes goalius is organic and no sg SC is a cybertronian a living robot and again no sg SC is not goalius girlfriend but a allie/rival anyway goalius ultimately had to shut them all down with a massive emp and it actually saved 15 zudahs seens they were going to go boom
GM: "There's an impostor among us!"
Here’s an idea for a What If?
What if the Zudah didn’t blow up and became Zeon’s MS of choice?
For some reason i love this machine even though piloting it is like piloting a giant hand granade
That's half the fun :p
killer queen has already touched that zudah.
Thanks for the videos man, you the best.
As always my favorite Gundam youtuber
Oh man you just know this video is gunna blow up
Imagine an AU where the Zudah was in the 1979 show(near the end, around the time you see the Zaku I, and the example of the Zaku II would be the Zudah II) and the Zaku I was seen as the failed prototype
Got a real soft spot for the Zudah. When I get to use a Zudah in games damn it is a space work horse. And I like GEM over Gin still rather call then G M but Gem sounds cool so thanks for that fact.
I've been waiting years for this.
I’ve always loved the Zudah’s looks
The only reason i bought the HGUC Zudah was cos i saw it came with a huge gun. Wasn't until it arrived and i learned more about it online that i came to really like the MS.
We need kits for the other Zudah variants, like the Early Type and F Type.
Also it's kinda funny how the HGUC Zudah was immediately following the HGUC Zaku 1. :P
The Luftwaffe nod... I should hae got that... I feel ashamed at not catching on sooner...
One of my favourite ms in gundam. I'm using the F-type as one of my mains on battle operation 2.
Hey guys I fixed the engine so it doesn't explode on the EMS-10F... F standing for the fuel exploding instead cause I mounted it right under the main thruster so it heats up with overuse and explodes.
Thanks kakarot I was waiting for the zudah episode!! Thanks again that made my day
Babe wake up, Kakarot197 dropped a new ms development video
I was waiting for him to mention the Hunter of Black Clothes and his Zudah
yes finally, an in depth for the zudahs
Oooh the Zudah. Thanks for the video!
Nice. I've been waiting to learn the development history of the Zudah after watching the development history of Zaku I.
I always thought it was closer to the Tiger and the Porsche tiger. At lest that’s what the development history reminded me of
Your channel is so special!!!!!
oh so it's a reference to the air force and not Tiger I vs Tiger-P like i used to think it is since Tiger-P is prone to have engine problems (overheats, catching fire) as well.
Ive been waiting for this one!
shoutout to the Jegan Fireball for doing its best Zudah impression almost 30 or so years after the Zudah saw action
It's a bird!
It's a plane!
It.... Just blew up.
Imagine having Gelgoog performance at the opening of the one year war
One year war would have been very different
About to make an animation with the Zudah
Wondering if there's anything I don't know about the Zudah
Katarot197 immediately drops a video about the Zudah
.....
GET OUT OF MY HEAD!
Well if its in ms igloo story then your fate has sealed....either from uncontrolled acceleration, defenceless suit, overheat, ptsd or you got visited by god of death from either side.
This video lasted longer than it takes for a zudah to explode
Can't wait for Gustav Karl history. Dat hunk of a boi sure dies not too long ago
the 603rd Technical avaluation unit was literally just a unit tht got a bunch of crap machines and wunderweapons from Zeon, literally got used as a decoy at the battle of loom and where basically given suicide or propaganda missions.
Fun fact! The GM Camouf is most likely based on the German "Ersatz" Panther tanks from ww2 that were painted to look like American tank destroyers, but would ultimately prove unsuccessful due to looking very obviously like German panthers, and a shortage of German tank crews who could also speak english convincingly.
Hearing a Zeon accent was mind blowing.
12:10 "there is 1 imposter among us"
I love the Zeduh and how tragic it is. Didn't know there's another Zeduh called Lepus however.
The Lepus is a very new thing, the manga it appeared in (Gundam Bandiera) is currently still being serialized.
@@kakarot197 Oh, that's why I couldn't anything about it.
Can we get a video on the Gelgoog soon, especially the Jager???
Lol the GM camouf reminded me of the Perfect Gundam from Thunderbolt
... I never know Zeon had a soccer team until now.
I got the gem camouf because i thought it was a gm mainly because it was cheap to buy and that i never knew of it )
I’m amazed that this video didn’t blow up faster than the Zudah
Zudah the suit that blows up before you can fully say it's name
Very cool vid, also side fun fact that unit operating fake and captured GMs is also I think a nod to a similar Operation conducted by the Germans during the battle of the Bulge. The Operation required far more enemy armor then the Germans had on hand so they disguised a Panther to look like a M10 Tank Destroyer, much like the Zeon ones however these units were of dubious use, and I THINK at least one was taken out by friendly forces.
Ok we are going to give you some new thrusters, a bigger reactor, some remodeling on the armor, and it’s gone
The gm camouf is just the impostor of the federation world…and also the sisquiede
Basically, the Zudah is what happens when Wile E. Coyote designs a mobile suit engine and they slapped it on a mobile suit.
