- I’ve had this one in the works for just maybe 2 or 3 weeks, been working nonstop and have had a blast doing so!! Considering I spent literally like 2 days on my last animatic and made something crappy with minimal effort, I put ALL my effort into this one and couldn’t be happier!

AU LORE:
Something I feel I need to clear up considering it’s briefly shown in one of Michael’s drawings, Mrs.Afton is NOT Michael’s bio mom and doesn’t come into his life until later(in my interpretation)!! She is however still mom to him and known as such. Credits to my good friend @aspyncreature for this concept I stole from her(with permission) because I wanted William to be a single dad for awhile before meeting Mrs.Afton!

Doing this one was REALLY fun, and in the end very rewarding for me!!
My favorite bit was probably redrawing The Immortal & The Restless, least favorite bit was literally going to the thesaurus to find negative adjectives for William to call his wife for a one second scene- but I wanted to make it clear he’s manipulative! XD He is not a reliable narrator there, she didn’t leave them, he literally killed her.
I like to imagine that they used to be all lovey dovey and yknow, actually in love to some degree but- for…lore reasons that became no more with time. XD

Ahhh yes more Mike angst. I love the childhood drawing he lil Mike did of him and his father as William complimented his son. Only for Mike to (rightfully) tear it off and scribble over his face. The part with his journal entry felt like a vey Mike thing to do considering the poor boy is probably feeling really detached, neglected, and envious of the affection William is giving to everyone but him. And the absolutely somber and hear wrenching silhouettes of Mike and Will as he hugs then beats him is so painful. The poor boy must have been so stressed conflicted and confused considering he is the only person (besides Henry) in his life that was still alive. And when William in his delusional grief and twisted state buried Ms. Afton and his ring with her is so good. His smiling wide grin as his eyes portrays clear sadness as he tries to justify his action and manipulated Henry. And the shit of C.C Mrs Afton and Elizabeth as ghost haunting Mike (?) is so 😢. Do you think they tried to communicate or console him through dreams or notes? Also is Mrs. Afton possessing Ballora or a bit of her souls is? Anyways I love how at 1:29 we see the hand writing on Mike’s name tags get worse and slowly deteriorate over time. Was it intentional to show his decaying body’s possible rigor mortis (? Am I typing that right) as he struggles to properly hold the pencil? If so then that is such a neat detail. You slated as always and the small bits of animation here is beautiful if a little choppy and stiff (but that might just be me). Edit: I hate autocorrect so much. My biggest enemy.
I loved the video, especially the parts where Mike's childhood drawings, were showen, the broken relationship with his father, his sadness for what happened to his mother, the appearance of his family as ghosts and the confrontation against Springtrap.

This is great! The amount of effort you put into this is obvious, and it definitely paid off! The animations were a pleasant surprise, and you put so much detail into, well, little details! I’m going to have to go back through this and pause a few times to make sure I don’t miss anything! All around a great animation/animatic/whatever something like this is called.
