Cool....Awesome ad to watch, was a lot of fun to see!! I have an HX GTS Monaro.my boyfriend has as a 2005 CV8.We have the last of the offical production run models.......Love those Holdys.and long live Brockie!!! Cheeres for your vid !!
It's a pity Aussies aren't making cars like this any more. G.M. (U.S.A.) sold us out, and the government here didn't help either, 250,000 Aussie jobs disappeared just like that. Long live classic Holdens and long live Brockie an Aussie legend who will never be forgotten.........................
Lovely viewing, thank you so much.Interesting the focus was maily on the four door though.Sales of big two door coupes were on the slide for sure, but Chrysler was'nt listening. The Charger made it to 1978.Maybe the GTS and LS two door Holdens just needed their own little campaign to get their message out? Thanks again.
I AM OLD enough to remember the HZ GTS.Was only a baby when they came out in late 77 myself but if my old man knew anything about cars when it was time to move on from the Lancia he would have got one of these which would have lasted our family till it was time to get rid of the baby seat in my case in late 82.great cars for the money.he stupidly bought a FIAT X1/9 unaware of the small kids instead we had that from august 78 to august 80 and had to get an alfa to fill the gaps once new seat belt laws came into effect in 1980 meaning another unplanned for car purchase for making a wrong choice a few years earlier.THE HZ if we bought that could have gone in as a trade for another alfa come 1983 or a honda prelude, renault fuego or even heaven forbid something like a ford laser kb sport.
