I am a late comer among the admirers of Torvill and Dean. Since I first saw their videos, I could never get tired of watching them again and again. Such a delight to behold! I wish them both well--they deserve it for giving us something beautiful to see.
They became the greatest ice skaters ever...but after years of working hard to reach to the top of the top....I just adore them...they are so lovely people
Watching these incomparable artists is an experience of such consummate beauty with utter seamlessness of form and exquisite content that it's like watching a master painter with an inexhaustible arm and a paintbrush that never runs out of paint, it's that fluid & elegant. Wow.
Their Olympic-level athleticism serves an even larger goal of creating art and pushing the boundaries of their discipline. Few athletes or artists have transformed their field as Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean have.

Whatever vanity he has is justified. Dean is a phenomenal talent who requires no more from others than he demands from himself. He has a right to recognize his own worth. Chris has done most of their choreography. It is exceptionally inventive and graceful. The transitions are so smooth and subtle that they seem magical.
