This is very cool I’m looking at the Ego zero turn electric mower coming out early 2022z Batteries are all lithium and removable/ hot swapable and can plug into other tools. I decided no LED acid batteries after reading the ryobi ride on reviews with the batteries coming dead on arrival or short after. I liked the ryobi but it seems the Ego ones are so well built. Ego tools are well worth a review in my opinion. I have got all ryobi 18v one plus but want to include the ego stuff too.
All 48 7.3v modules are safely unassembled. Should be able to make 6 48v packs. Plan to use 4 as an off grid car charger for our Leaf. The other two will power the zero turn ride on mower when they aren't participating in the stationary pack. They are around 60-75% state of health and should provide many years of service if treated well. Note: these modules are flammable and should be handled with caution and knowledge. .
Yeah, the sound was poorly recorded - it was bright sunny conditions and I didn't see it peaking. I now take headphones to double check for external work.

@Ray Johnson same here! Really excited to get one 🙂
Which runtime do you get per each charge of the battery ? And how many squaremeter can you mow in that time?
This is motivating me to finish the battery upgrade on my hustler zero turn. Going from very old Lifepo4 to Nissan Leaf gen 1 cells.

.
Was good to have Chris out at the farm and mow the lawn (and secondary shoot some videos, but sssh, don't know if he figured that out yet haha)
Have you got an battery electric chainsaw?
My Ryobi is a great garden tool plus all the other attachments.
The 2stroke is dead .
video coming; you can actually see them on the ground in the background.
I use one to maintain facilities. I recommend it.
Perfect for my future cyber caravan park. :D
Taking the EV to get fuel for the ride-on mower sucks.
Not for long..
Everything is going electric !
Not bad but I think I prefer the Ryobi electric ride ons form Bunnings.
Non-zero turn on the riobi
Watch you audio modulation outside.. you are over modulating a bit.. good work getting out side and mowing the lawn..

Would have been great to hear it in action without the music! After all that's one of the big advantages of electric!
Thanks for the suggestion Sean - I'll put some sound in for my next video on an battery electric chainsaw.
