After beating Tyr a third time I put the difficulty to the lowest because of the amount stress, anxiety, and tears trying to beat mobs that were able to tank a full combo for 8 mins and dying g going back to the shore and restart everything again. The difficulty I was on was the 2nd hardest
Same i thought once i went to greece a second time with the time difficulty increase i would spawn there but NOPE back to shore i go. Once i beat Tyr and got to shore I turned the difficulty back up though
I could not beat last phase tyr on the 2nd hardest difficulty lol I lowered it for the first run then restarted the whole run and finally beat him without lowering it. I can't imagine that in the hardest difficulty
I am thinking of upping my level of difficulty to the second highest I am on Show me Courage and about to face Tyr for the third time I think he has dual blades in that phase but I killed Tyr in the second phase in my first run. I think if I constantly switch between weapons and I time my blocks I should get through his third phase. How much more difficulty is his third time around compared to his second time?
@@SerialChiller12101 so in ragnarok the easiest difficulty was easier than every other GOW. So thats the added difficulty. I call it journalist mode. So for the dlc did they keep the same difficulty set up? I heard they had a difficulty that was considered too hard. Is it harder than all the other hardest difficulties? Or is it the same god mode of olde just this DLC being brutal?
I would've done that if I hadn't learned how OP is scorched earth ability with the blades, burns enemies and stuns them you could just spam that move and beat the whole thing

Shit on show me mastery it varies in difficulty on the lower realms but when you transition into the realm of Greece is when you see a REAL spike in difficulty when you need to cleanse 4 realm tears within a time frame when enemies start getting harder will really test you. Plus that time lapse may very depending on how fast you get to tyr. If you die then you need to grind it all the way back 😭

The Blade of Olympus. We hadn't seen that since the destruction of Zeus. When we used it in GOW 3 the blade was a part of The Rage of Sparta.

Santa Monica couldve EASILY made this a $20 DLC for the game, and people wouldve still praised this for how much content and story they put into this. But yet they were generous and gave it to us for free. Makes you think how times in video games have changed.

It's almost like people don't know how to enter Valhalla. Even if Thor and Odin could go to Valhalla after they die, they did not die in a way that would allow them entrance. They did not die in battle.
They're Aesir, its stated that Aesir gods get access to Valhalla whether they die in battle or not
Odin cannot technically go to Valhalla. I think that was a point he brought up to Atreus in the main story too, that he doesn't know what'll happen to him when he dies. He won't go to Valhalla because technically he owns Valhalla itself and the Valkyries (least the ones that run Valhalla) are under his command, so it doesn't make sense. He can't go to the Alfheim light either since that's not for the Aesir OR the Vanir gods really. And he can't go to Utengard because he isn't a Jotunn.

Keep fighting, when you get to one of the safe areas you’ll see multiple blue doors scattered. One will have a skull on it, that’s the Valhalla’s Chosen.

Hey, is anyone else having trouble with the final tier fight
Final story fight or his true difficulty after? Using all weapons is hard to learn but its easier than king rolf, the hard part is the "stay in the circle" phase 2. Just know that he teleports behind you constantly while you're in the shadows and you basically have to run for the light rolling sideways when you hear him charge. Fighting Tyr after the end of the DLC he will basically be in phase 2 the entire fight.
