OMG!!! You are a life saver! I am making my son's wedding cake. Except they don't like cake and want a cheesecake wedding cake. I was so mortified because I didn't think cheesecakes could be tiered! AND THEN I found your tutorial!!! THANK YOU! Now I know it can be done and I am amazed at how easy it is. Wedding is next year so I have about 10 months to.practice the heck out of it! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Im so happy !!! You made my day! I hope you don't mind that I shared your testimonial on my Cakes with Lorelie Facebook page. Please keep me updated on how things go and if you have any questions just ask. xo Thank you !!!
Oh Loralie!! I've just watched the whole series and I'm impressed, I was already impressed, now I'm thoroughly impressed!!! The cake slice looks so decadent!! Belisimo!!!
@@CakesWithLorelie I never tried 😔 maybe scared of handling and transportation but after watching you it really encouraged me to give it a try. Stay safe and healthy 💖
Thank you :-) The book includes some of the filling recipes like Chocolate mousse, chocolate ganache, lemon curd, IMBC, white chocolate buttercream, and Lemon cream cheese filling. It also includes a membership to the cake crew on Facebook and other perks at the website.
The cakes usually stay out at least 6 hours before they actually cut it. Sometimes more. The cakes are delivered cold and then slowly come to room temperature. By the time the cake is cut its perfect temperature.
Somehow I missed part 2!! How did that happen!? But in a way I'm glad because I can watch them back to back without waiting! This series came at a perfect time because someone was requesting a cheesecake but my recipe could be better! Thank you😘
Hi Wendy, So glad the videos are helping. I use a basic creamy New York style cheesecake. The recipe is on my website if you want to give it a try. Link is in the description box below the video. The cheesecake has a mild flavor and I usually top them it with canned Cherry pie filling (family fave), or Strawberries which is the perfect amount of sweet to add to it.
Oh gosh you made it look so easy hehe so what you do is leave the straw just a bit out of the cake? I always cut them like shorter but I always mess my cake up when I stack one on top of the the other, then fix my mess lol. Thank you for sharing :)
yes slightly higher than the cake. I sometimes measure them and mark them, cut and then insert. But this cake was a little different than the norm. I don't usually deliver them in pieces. You can check out some of my other videos to see how I usually do it. Thanks for watching.
Thank you :) I just learned something new. I have been following you for a while now, and seen most of your videos, but since I started on making layer cakes this past year I never actually paid attention on how far out to put the straws sice someone taught me they had to be flush to the cake, hmm that doesn't work for me haha I will have to make this cake for my husband's bday this father's day :) lol I loved that cheers at the end :)
Best part about making wedding cakes. Right??? The safe cake delivery. So satisfying :-) 💖
Totally having a cheesecake for my wedding this November
Great choice!

This is really great! I'm getting this same cake made for my wedding but only for one cake as the others will be different cakes.
Wonderful! Congratulations🎉
Awesome job! And a beautiful cake!
Thank you Laura :-)
Truly you are an inspiration 💞💞
Thank you so much!!! This was a very heavy and delicious cake. Do you also make wedding cakes?

It looks beautiful! Well done!
Thank you Maura :-)
Wonderfully done, also straws used to support such heavy cake? Thanks for the tutorial.
Thanks. I probably would have used wooden if i was to stack it first and then deliver it.
That's beautiful. I'm curious why you leave the straws sticking up during transport?
Thanks Jean. I wanted to have it set up on the table and take time to make sure that the cake was even etc before cutting them
I’m loving your videos!! Does your book include the recipes for the fillings you use for each cake as well?

Wow I was waiting for your 3rd video great job👌.
For how long we can leave cake like yours outside?

Wedding Cakes For You
