- The interrupted Harvest ritual resulted in Davina becoming the most powerful witch seen to date. Although barely having any experience in witchcraft, she was a formidable enemy to the Originals, as Rebekah stated that she was more powerful than them, seen when she took down Elijah and Klaus with ease. A shame that it only lasted 10 episodes and all that power was going to kill everyone including her. Anyways, enjoy!!

When Davina slowly started to turn Klaus into a wolf (and you could see his wolf hair appearing) that was so badass. I know she had the power of three witches ; but regardless it was impressive, and in her own right she is still a formidable witch.
She didn’t only have the power of 3 witches she had the powers of all the ancestors

After they died the power the power of each Witch was channeled onto the next, so since Davina was the last she had the power of three powerful ancestral New Orleans Witches, + her own as-well. If she had the power of all The Ancestors (which is thousands of witches) she would’ve been unstoppable ; and way more powerful than she was within the show.

@@arianalikens5300 I know that Harvest and Regent Davina are two different things. My argument with the person was that Harvest Davina didn’t have access to the power of all the ancestors.
@@arianalikens5300 and The Ancestors grant The Regent their power within limit, if they try do something they don’t concord with it won’t work. It’s not all the power its enough for what is needed.

@@H_savv4848 now that I think about it when Esther wrote the spell to put Rebecca back into her body Freya said this spell will require an enormous amount of power and Esther replied which you have. I don’t know if she could senses freya’s power or she was referring to Freya being a first born.

Most powerful witch is so controversial. Rebecca has seen her mom and Bonnie and never she has never felt power like harvest Davins. Elijah saw Bonnie when she almost killed Klaus and he stated there has never been an all powerful witch until Davina
That’s because Davina was channeling the power of the Ancestors, through the 3 powers she absorbed from the other witches.

She is powerful but I honestly think Freya, Dahlia, and Bonnie are stronger. Even with the combined magic of the harvest girls. She had the strength of 4 witches. Freya is a first born michaelson witch who's power was augmented by dahlia and put in a sleep spell where her magic has been growing for a 1000 years. Bonnie had the strength of basically her entire family and Dahlia is a first born who was put under the same spell as Freya and can draw strength from her.

See i think Davina should’ve take a page out of Dahilas handbook and made a coven that was linked allowing for them all to both be augmented and for her to draw on that power. I think Davina would’ve made an amazing bad guy and not just someone’s toy.

There were so many things that they could have done with this show, but they were far too in love with their "originals."

@@chrizstele5922 for example, ongoing skullduggery between the werewolves and the vampires, power plays between the vampire clans, government agents hunting vampires.
The primary problem that they had was to create protagonists who were ridiculously over powered, and effectively unkillable. This is why they had to keep creating new, and more absurd, ways of putting them at risk. First it's the white oak stake, then it's Michael the Viking, then it's auntie's magic, then it's The Hollow (which was the most idiotic of all).
If there is no risk, there is no drama.
All they had to do from the beginning is say that the vampires were subject to certain forms of magic that could destroy them. This would give their enemies a plot hook, and provide drama for the main characters.
Instead they kept changing the ground rules.
