Officials say Navy sailor who died was on inflatable boat that capsized

Members of the Royal Canadian Navy say the sailor who died after the inflatable boat he was on capsized was HMCS Montreal member Gregory Attwood.

A RIB does not capsize so easily, I have a specific channel for this type of boat, life jackets also count, having a portable VHF on board, or even an anti-capsize system if you sail at night! DEP 😢

Most likely not even on board, but at CFB Shearwater. They would not have a flight crew on standby at Shearwater. SAR Techs would need to come from CFB Greenwood.
