Hi awesome stuff. few questions? any idea on where to find specs and regulations for the chassis build?Curious as to what and what i cant do with the subfames? how long I can extend the chassis, does it have to be certified by a engineer etc. Do you think a novice could build this sub frame with no experience? Im based in (nsw) Do you think a 200 npr requires spring torsion mounts if its not going off road? any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Dan :)
G'day, you will want to have a read over the isuzu chassis/body builder's guide to suit your chassis for best practice, while also complying with your state regulations. You should beable to find links to that on service nsw website. As for building something like this with no relevant experience I would suggest you find someone to build it for you and let you help along the way to gain skills Good luck with the build
Hi, I'm trying to find information on building a sprung mount subframe like this for a 14' body. How are you getting on with your's? How much flex does it allow the chassis? My chassis would twist to the point of breaking unless it was limited by a rigid body, so a rail on rail system is better for me than a pivoting system. I'd be grateful for any tips. My truck is a 1956 Bedford RL. Cheers Richard
Ours has been performing well. Sounds like your chassis is far more flexible than ours. Have a look at AAV, they sell a mount kit that is far better than what I built and appears to have a longer range of travel too.
beautiful work. beautiful song
Almost at 60 amazing Job
brilliant video
Thanks,
A few things changed with the subframe design. I will add the updates into another video

Just found your build, well done! Whats with the bolts on the cross members? Great job!
Cheers.
They are for access to apply rust proofing inside the frame
Where did you get the custom tanks ?
We got them from www.rainagaintanks.com.au/rv-cartage-tanks
They were a standard size they make.
A very well made product
