Mario & Wario is a puzzle game for the Super Famicom that was released only in Japan. It was designed by one Satoshi Tajiri and developed by Game Freak, and it is one of the very few games that made use of the Super Famicom mouse accessory. The gameplay has you directing a blinded and autowalking Mario and friends through various levels back to Luigi. Blocks can be broken and switches can be activated to ensure they are safe from harm and can get to Luigi.
The story of the game begins with Mario, Luigi, Yoshi and Princess Peach traveling to the Fairy's Forest in search of the Fairy of Fortune. Luigi then gets lost and separated from the other three, and Wario drops a bucket on Mario's head and various other things on Peach and Yoshi's heads. It's up to Wanda, the Fairy of Fortune herself, to reunite them with Luigi by ensuring their safety and directing them to Luigi himself.
In this run, Sam_Underscore ( tasvideos.org/... ) chooses to beat the game as fast as possible by completing only Worlds 8, 9, and 10, the only worlds required for completion. Input is ended early to let Yoshi walk to Luigi in the final level by himself.

Less "Mario and Wario" , more "Fairy and Yoshi". Never heard of this one before, fun TAS.
It has to do with the settings. You can either choose slow which is peach, medium is Mario and Yoshi is fast.
The fairy's name is Wanda
It looks like Luigi is grabbing Yoshi's face to give him a big smooch at the end of each level xD

... but I think it may be inspired from this game too.
I avoided this game before and I see it was for good reason.
I don't think the game is bad, though.
@RainLion10 I agree. But from what I saw and played, plus this TAS, I'd probably fall asleep before finishing a single world.
@@rainlion10It’s a nice puzzle game, but SNES games in the 90s were very expensive, and if you’ve bought this you might’ve been stuck with it for a couple of months. It looks like it should’ve been on the game boy instead if you ask me…
