That was a good but not really informative video. You forgot to mention that if u purchase a carly, you only get 1 vehicle in the price. To unlock all type of vehicles you have to pay 120£, if you want to use on multiple cars. The coding is not included in thr free version. So overall you avoided pricing because it is so expensive, that other scanners like xtool offers more at that price.

I was able to turn it off in my husbands F-250. I can’t remember exactly how I did it but I searched on RUclips and found someone else who posted a video showing how. The chime was super annoying. He’s a cop who uses his truck to do extra jobs and it’s not always a good idea for him to wear his seatbelt. Like if he’s patrolling a car dealership or anywhere similar that he may need to jump out of his car in a hurry. Sometimes every second counts so not wearing a belt might be the difference between life & death and having the chime constantly chastising him was driving him nuts. Lol

For a Cooper Base, hardtop, 2 doors (F56), are there BDC commands for LED conversion of main halogen headlamps, as well as DRL and parking lights? What about commands to turn off cold and hot check on the headlight to avoid dash errors permanently?
In bimmercode, I can find the commands for LED conversion to all external lights except for parking lamp and also I see no option to turn off cold or hot light checks.

Ethan - I appreciate your Mini enthusiasm. if you still have the Carly ODB2 adapter and the app it would be a helpful video to see what things you can adjust on the Gen 1 Mini Cooper S. I have searched and I have not found one single RUclips video on Carly coding for the Mini R53. That tells me the car is not supported.
Maybe someone in your local Mini community has an R53 you can do a video on. The Carly website isn't specific around what it can and cannot do with the Carly Adapter on the Gen 1 Mini. Other research says that my 2006 Mini Cooper S (my fourth R53) is not supported by Carly but those comments are often a number of years old and the App software may have changed in that time. The R53 is having a bit of a revival of late with filks getting interested in a "Track Day" street car on a budget.
If you could shed some light on the current Carly App and the Mini R53 you would help this subscriber.
