Awesome setup! A well stocked truck and a clean work area makes for a super efficient install. I know your installers are very happy about all that! Keep up the great work guys!
I love the concept . but I have been in this business 37 years and unless you slow that truck would be a mess and two guys on a change out possibly three unless its a really big job. I also tried running box trucks and found they cost more on fuel and repairs and technicians are brutal on them , I recommend instead of running a crew out of a box truck you have two of them maybe three with a sheet metal mechanic to meet the installers out on the job and measure it and make a transition and move on to the next job . put the installers in high back sprinters let them install just two of them and let the third guy make their metal up und roll job to job doing that , the less box trucks the less expense one duct guy for every 4 crews. you don't need 3 guys on a job. we are all in it for the money and the less box trucks equals more money on gas and repairs and two installers also equals more profit . I like the mobile sheet metal truck idea but smaller trucks use less gas and cost less to fix and two guys that work well together can do the work of five guys who don't work well together, good luck and if you find its not worth the over head try mixing it up to see what works best for you ,
Thanks for watching everyone! And shoutout to McCarthy's One Hour in Omaha, NE for sharing the idea with us many years ago!
