I have a $10,000 Twin Lens Roliflex and a 1972 polaroid sx70 and have an appreciation for the simple sx70 film look. Yes there one of a kind camera and film, and original. I actually like your polaroid bw .Keep in mind that most don't understand you have to have a "mind set" when using these old nostalgic polaroids. You can't compare them to other cameras old or new. The old saying is...they are what they are...and what they produce. There small masterpieces in there own right. Try to enjoy if you can. Happy shooting..Mike 👍 1972 Polaroid Sx70 is a marvel of engineering produced by Dr Edwin Land.
Current Polaroid film is too expensive to keep using in a camera that obviously has issues with exposure etc. Don’t complain get it sorted by getting it serviced by qualified people. It’s a 40+ year old camera and deserves some TLC.

send the "thing" for an overhaul :)
This is great man!
Retrospekt… get that thing refurbed. I used retrospekt to refurb my sx70 and sx70 onsestop and they both came back like brand new.
Camera needs to be refurbished.....but unless you are going to keep doing instant Polaroid photos, I,suggest that you sell it...
I think your camera has a serious problem with the rollers…
Oh yeah just a bit.

But complaining is fun! Cleaning the rollers actually made a very considerable difference, at least with an even spread.
First.
