Now Nashville wants the Grizzlies BAD!
The colts acting like my father
I’d say more inconvenient rather than complicated
Yeah urinating tree explains it to
British football (⚽) teams have wayyy more complicated histories
And still not better than
no they don’t. I can only think of one team who moved. Wimbledon to Milton Keynes. that move caused so much controversy the FA banned teams moving. If your statement is correct please name all your information
@@rockerjim8045 promotion and relegation make everything more interesting. Just look at my club (Oxford United)
Within living memory, we have gone from winning a cup into the top division to the fifth tier and back. We almost died in a merger with Reading. We've almost gone out of business a good few times. Find me one American team whose history has as many ups and downs as ours.
How can teams just... move.
😂 when the chargers moved to la, they still haven’t played a home game 💯😂
Memphis and good football attendance doesn't belong in the same sentence
The only NFL game I’ve ever seen in person was at the liberty bowl. I was 7 or so and was rooting for the Steelers (I had just started boys club football and my team was the Steelers lol). Being from NE Arkansas, I was bummed to learn that they weren’t staying in Memphis
The stadium is just a downgrade from the original Houston Astrodome
This is why we get the Oilers uniforms
Yes!!
Kind of reminds me of chargers they were in San Diego and some didn’t want to travel 2hrs to a game in LA
Why launch a relocation effort if you aren't ready to relocate?
Bud Adams strategy 101
The Oilers were supposed to stay in Houston until 1997, then move to Nashville for 1998. Attendance was so bad in 1996 Houston let the Oilers break their lease at the Astrodome.
Also there was a flood in Nashville that pushed the opening of Nissan Stadium to 1999.
😮Wow
Nashville is right near me lol
Bristol should host a superbowl aswell as a titans game 😂😂😂 maybe even a national championship game too 😂
The Chargers haven’t had a home game since 2016
Knoxville would’ve loved the oilers for a few years
Tennessee abandoned Memphis way before that.
Vanderbilt was considered too small, but Mullet Arena is okay.
At least Memphis got Basketball and none pro Baseball. Nashville has State in No-Fun League and City in NHL to boot (yet Ice Hockey is ricky in Southern USA)
Why does nobody seem to mention that they were the Tennessee Oilers for a season, please?
The Chargers & Rams still don't have home field advantage when they play at "home"
Boy if I was the titans I would stay in Houston until 2029 Not 1999 The Oilers were a great name.
They were not the Tennessee Titans when they were in Memphis. They were the Tennessee Oilers
den played in a superbowl 3 seasons lata; saints displaced by katrina in 05
Can you do shehawk
I thought they started the Titans in 1998. I also thought they built the stadium whole the Oilers were still in Houston and then moved to Nashville. Damn. I literally don't remember the team playing in Memphis or Vanderbilt
Cant be a start when they were already playign as another team
Rip Houston oilers
That’s only a 3 hour drive why are they complaining that’s like from Houston to Dallas
Wouldn't drive 3 hrs for a game... Saskatchewan Roughrider fans, from the CFL, enter the conversation.
should've kept being the Oilers
There’s no oil in Tennessee
The Texans should have been called the Oilers
@@Gage_Brumleywrong. Learn your history. Houston didn’t want to keep the oilers there so Bud Adams packed his shit and went somewhere that wanted him.
@@feastorfamineautoso I’m from Houston citizens didn’t have a choice
@@Devin888584 65 people showed up for a demonstration against them leaving. 65.
Play in the one that was to small for NFL. Instead of having no support lol
W team
It would have been better if the Houston oilers stayed in Houston. 👍
My high school team had no home games and we won state womp womp titans
Or Bud Adams should have kept the Oilers in Houston instead
Another bum
Naw 😅
Houston didn’t even appreciate the team. The team didn’t abandon Houston. Houston abandoned the team.
@@v.9050 why would you say that. Of course, they will, if you announce you refuse to help pay for a stadium and plan to move the team. Why would you help out Bum Adams by buying tix or Oilers gear. Browns fans did same and you wouldn't say they were not loyal fans
Should have just played at Vandy from the getup
oilers are now the Tesla IUD'S
Trivia Question: What two teams, still to this day, have never played an NFL ”home” game since 1976 and 1982, respectfully?
- The Answer: The New York Giants and the New York Jets.
- Why Is That?: Because both teams physically play in the Borough of East Rutherford, Bergen County, New Jersey. NOT 🚫 NEW YORK. 👌
The titans are getting rid of nissan stadium now and building a new stadium
why don’t sports teams extend their lease until their new stadium is opened, like the new las vegas A’s are gonna be homeless for a while
That drive from Nashville to Memphis is so boring too hopefully they flew
Give the oilers name back to houston yall don't even use it anymore smfh we want the name back
