You certainly struck lucky for the weather. The Abbey looked stunning and I loved Jenny and your's commentary. You are back at doing what you are best at. It really made me want to visit. Keep up the good work and I hope your sight is fully restored now. Guy.

Thank you for putting this up. My wife and I went to Tewkesbury last year because I had wanted to see the abbey for several years, and we were very disappointed to find it closed when we arrived. A wasted journey! Your post here was some measure of compensation to us - even though you, too, were unable to see everything.
Thanks again, Robert and Eileen (Rochester Cathedral, Kent)

Thanks to you posting here Bob we visited the Abbey with our cavachon. We probably wouldn't even have attempted it otherwise, we nervously approached the entrance and couldn't see any signs saying we could take him in. I suppose we're all God's creatures!
The grounds were lovely with some really impressive trees. Thanks again.

It's amazing when you see how old these places are they are still standing. Just a few miles from me there is Crowland Abby first built in the 8th century and destroyed by the Danes in the year 870.. rebuilt in the 11th century. Hard to believe people were running around here that long ago. Looking forward to seeing this Abby when we visit later in the year.Love your travels we have just sat today watched your trip to Scotland and booked our first Scotland trip. Seeing great places thanks to you.

Thanks Bob, Jenny and Poppy. What a beautiful place.
Great that Poppy was allowed inside with you? We have two dogs that come everywhere with us and it would be lovely for my husband and I to be able to visit such a place together. Normally we just admire from the outside. X

We took Poppy inside Tewkesbury and Beacon Cathedrals. Some places of worship welcome all God's creatures. Apart from Buckfast...

Great video Bob. Loved the abbey and thanks for showing the cricket club😀. Its a great town. I love all the Tudor buildings. The quality of both the sound and picture is spot on! Your videos are very professional but not contrived. I love your honest style which I think is your trademark.

Lovely - never been there. Did you ever find out how to actually pronounce Tewkesbury? I had a brother who maintained it was pronouned "Chucksbury". Not sure if that was correct since a Gloucester friend pronounced it the way you do! Looks a nice town, thanks for sharing.

    • @BobEarnshawMoHo

Thanks, I've no idea on pronounciation at the best of times. 😁

A very nice vlog informative what's not to like about it, just don't get why people bother with a 👎😡 boils my blood I know the time and effort that goes into making a vlog just don't know why the 👎option is on RUclips I find it offensive to the people who make these vlogs. All the best Bob and Jenny.

Thank you very much. I think the thumbs down are from people who are hidden from making comments because they've been rude or abusive. Strangely RUclips still allows them a vote on the videos!
