You need to apply for a visitor record when: you first arrive at the port of entry and you know you want to stay longer than 6 months; or you’re in Canada and decide you want to stay longer. You must apply at least 30 days before your authorized stay in Canada expires

My OINP application is in "Decision in progress" (DIP) status for the last 10 business days. My company already explored LMIA option and can't proceed as they don't have enough logic to prove my candidacy. What's the best option to continue to work legally? Should I apply for a work permit extension with an explanation that my PNP is in progress, basically a fake extension?

No I have not looked for a job in Canada 6. I do not plan to work in Canada Which is the best option for me being on Visitor record?
Visitor records only allow you to stay in Canada after expired your work permit , study permit or if you want to stay time in Canada. If you wanna go to India you may need to check you have visitor visa! If you don’t have visitor visa you are not allow come back to canada. It’s totally different visitor visa and visitor records!
I am on my post graduation work permit that Expires Oct 12, 2024. My points for PR are 472. However, I am getting married to a citizen and need to Travel to India in December for my wedding What would be your best suggestion in this case? Please guide. Thank you
