Sennheiser HD 650 vs HD 518

Nice video. Always interesting to hear people's thoughts on how different Sennheisers compare.
As far as what replaces what in the current generation compared to the last generation of the 500 series, it goes like this:
518 - 559
558 - 579 (now discontinued)
598 - 599

Thanks for your comment. The difference in quality was quite surprising - I had remembered the 518 being slightly better than this pair. Perhaps they were fakes?

I've got 599 wonder if it's worth upgrading to 650 or 660
