Martin Short looked nothing like a 10 year old. They made him look young enough to pass for a college kid, but not 10. His voice didn't even sound right.
I didn't see this until I was either 16 or 17 on cable but I would have liked to have gone on this ride too. It looked like fun and I really liked the background and how they made the prehistoric background look and the dino robots were good too and the water effects. I could picture the smell like being on a real ride.
LOL. Clifford said the funniest line: "A thought occurred to me; Do you think that Miss Sarah and Mr. Ellis perhaps would name their first child Martin!?"
I'd forgotten how much peril poor Clifford was placed in now all I can picture is Uncle Top Ten Most Wanted in prison and Mr. Ellis climbing on top of Sweet Miss Sarah.
Imagine Clifford worked for the CDC? "I just made the bestest Bioweapon in the whole wide world"! A few days later a man with blonde hair and sunglasses approaches him, "My name is Wesker, I am with Umbrella Corporation, it is to my understanding you've created a Bioweapon"? Clifford - "The bestest Bioweapon in the whole wide world, look what it can do, shows him an example on a rat. Wesker - "I am offering you a job in our Bioweapons research lab in the Arklay Mountains, come with me, and bring that virus with you, we have much to talk about my friend".
@@62202ifyYeah, but then Clifford would want to go to the Capcom multiverse so he can visit Dino Crisis world. And when Wesker delays/cancels/denies this request. Clifford unleashes his bioweapon onto an unsuspecting mansion. Thus the origin story of Resident Evil.
When I was younger I was just like Clifford in some ways that’s why it’s so fun watching this movie when your older he reminds you of you if you obsessed much about things.
The real ending had Clifford flying off the track and his skull was crushed mid sentence as he called for uncle Martin's help. With Martin being hauled to prison and the credits rolling. It was deemed a little to intense and they opted for the learning a lesson ending. True story.
Imagine if Clifford ever went to Jurassic Park? He shut off the power to the electric fences so he could get a closer look at the Dinosaurs, he was a hundred yards from a Triceratops when from the side of him a Velicraptor appears from a bush right on his face, "Uhh ohh". Are the last words ever heard from Clifford as three Raptors jump on him, Sarah sends a search party to find Clifford, all they find are a torn shirt, a pool of blood and a bloody toy Brontosaurus. Martin - "Man what a way to go".
when I was a child I was trying to find Clifford the big red dog on tv and ended up finding this movie at this exact scene and definitely had nightmares about it, hilarious to know it was a comedy the whole time
LMAO....Martin Short was such an underrated actor...this move, Pure Luck, and Captain Ron were all hilarious if you ask me. Wonder what happened to him? Havent heard of him acting in years.

I mean, that's not true you still love your family members even if they made stupid choices but Clifford idk about I actually feel really bad for his uncle all the things he put his uncle through like getting him arrested and making the man lose his job that was all Clifford's fault and those 2 things were major so yeah I can see were your coming from about that but most of the other time, I would disagree about your statement
After Martin kidnapped Clifford, I wonder if Sarah found out Clifford is missing from her home and went to go look for him? If she found him at Dinosaur World, maybe Clifford would explain what happened though and tell the truth this time.
lmao this is hilarious, but i gotta admit...i tear up at the end...Martin Short's face is so adorable for the last like 30 seconds. And i get teary when grodin says that no one would ever want to hug him! lmao....i guess i'm just a little bit emotional....HAHAHA
Clifford ruined his uncle's life AND career... and all over a stupid amusement park AND a ride his uncle designed. He was a disgraceful, spoiled brat who simply could not be trusted. He was wrong for the things he's done, and now he has to suffer for it.
Charles Grodin’s delivery made this movie hilarious for me. When he mocks Martin Short and says “has something happened to it?”, I bust up. It’s just naturally funny to me.
Clifford got what he deserved in this movie for 7 options: A Tricking his uncle into getting him chocolate at a Convenience store by a gas station just to get to Dinosaur World by posing as a couple's son in a dinosaur costume B. Embarrassing his uncle at an important social event by tricking him into drinking pure Tobasco sauce and putting on lipstick instead of chapstick to get back at him for berating him and grounding him for his actions fooling him into getting him chocolate which loses his privileges at taking him to Dinosaur World. C. Framing him for a bomb threat on City Hall by editing his uncle's voice. D.Pretending to run away to San Francisco by manipulating and tricking his uncle to go there, so he can let a bunch of teenage strangers throw a massive party at his house just so he can take him to Dinosaur World. E. Planting an explosive device in his uncle’s architectural model of the city, which blows up in front of a large crowd and causes him to get fired from his lifelong dream job. F. Plotting to drive a wedge between his uncle and his uncle's fiancee, Sara because Clifford has a sexual attraction to her and G. all of the above. He ruined his uncle's life. Clifford is a spoiled brat and a manipulative little sociopath.
It was all Julien & Theodora's fault. If they have taught Clifford some manners, set policies and rules, made time to spend with him, set goals and, above all else, raised him normal, none of this would've happen. They were as much to blame as Clifford.
At least Martin did the right thing by saving Clifford. If he didn’t he’d probably be arrested and found guilty for kidnapping and murder, Sarah would never marry him, his brother Julian won’t ever forgive Martin for letting his only son and nephew die, and Martin would spend the rest of his life in prison.
But as much as Clifford has to suffer the loss of trust and love from his uncle, did poor Martin have to suffer much worse? Clifford ruined Uncle Martin's career AND his life... over a stupid ride at an amusement park he was not allowed to go because of his mischievous actions early in the film. Martin gave Clifford fair warning. Now the latter's feeling what Vanessa Huxtable's feeling when she lied to both Cliff & Clair in the episode, "Off to See the Wretched".

sean, yes, it was actauly quite creepy in a lot of ways too
Sean Phillips that’s what made it funny dude

In loving memories of Charles Grodin. Rest in Peace, man.🙏😔

It would be so good if the ending was like this, right? but imagination can succeed... 😏
was having war flashbacks from watching this movie. Litterly if Clifford had been played by a child it would have been a horror movie...

“Uncle 10 Most Wanted” 😂

I had this movie as a child, but now I realized: that scene is the very core of passive-aggressiveness, it's burning. :D
