This video is Very very Beautifull experience for daily movement of steam trains to me. I am really enjoyed is the views. Very good and very Excellent catching ❤️😍 👏👏👏👏
I volunteered back in the seventies with the Dart Valley Railway at Ashburton and can fully appreciate the hard work and dedication that results in a working preserved railway. It is very difficult for me to travel to the NYMR and I rely on videos posted here! Thanks for uploading, keep them coming! ❤
What a wonderful record of what I grew up with, here in beautiful South Africa! Thanks for the evocative display of an era now totally destroyed by our RSA government - just as they have destroyed everything else in SA!
@@locoLocotrains astounding! In all my many tears of train nerding, Ive never seen one before. So used to UK locos having 6 or rarely 8 driver's. Not heard of 10 drivers here in Aus either.
Grewt video mate 👍 must have just missed you or been at different ends of Grosmont as i was there on Saturday as well 😂 good to see the Standard tank back out and about 👍
@@locoLocotrains ye I left at 2pm though and don't think you were on the 9f when I videoed it coming into Grosmont. And not sure hopefully before my birthday if not it will be after 🤣 (that's proper vague) 🤣
@@locoLocotrains No good to me .Spent a week there and no steam .In past they did other things to avoid it .Not Price though . Used to have a diesel on Levisham / Goathland section in nineties .Or you could like they did with when the King came a diesel up the back . Bad show by Price .
@@Blackfive1945 well it was the fire service and National park who Imposed the steam ban. Not mr price, also my stepfather who is a fireman at Whitby who was putting out the huge fire near Goathland, no point risking the whole moors.
Excellent footage well done and thanks for sharing 👏
Thankyou :)
Marvelous filming. Thank you.😊
What a great bit of filming I loved it keep up the good work
Thankyou ! :)
I love black 5s, duchesses, Bulleid pacifics, 9Fs , but standard 4 tanks are really nice ‘smaller’ locos. A really nice video.
4 tanks are little units! :) thanks
Welcome back Belle!

Sweet memories of steam locomotive 🚂 ❤❤❤love you
i spotted the Maroon B.S.K behind the 9F with the double door handle in it's up position , when the down position is locked.
Nice to see the standard tank back on traffic. The 9f sounded out of time when it was leaveing pickering
She was hardly working tbh
Yer sounded like it. Good video though
uneven beat at speed too.
@@Paul09 it’s barking when the steam/smoke is blowing out the chimney. Audio is in sync too, double checked
@@locoLocotrains its the loco not the video! The valve setting may not be giving an even beat.
Stunning video! Many thanks.
well that was a delight
Standard 4 great looking Engine I fired no 36 a few times when I was a fireman at Hithegreen

Those dual-cab diesels make a lot of sense. I don't know why we don't try that in the US. Some of the electrics were like that.
I never new that “decapods” existed in the UK. Never seen a 2-10-0 outside of US.
Yup 9F and WD D 2-10’s some of the most mass produced locos in Britain

@@glenngogoll6166 No 10-wheel engines here (as in "x-10-x" here in Aus, or nothing larger than 4-8-4 or 4-8-4 + 4-8-4)

@@locoLocotrains AHH I watched the diner leave Grosmont at 12.40.
Will have to try get down there again when you are next down 👍👍

No steam when I was down. Spent a week without a thing bar Whitby .Thank you Mr Price ! I won`t be back in any hurry !
Fire risks were too high. But steam is back now since 2 weeks ago

@Blackfive1945 , why didn’t you phone NYMR before you left home so see if there was any issues ?
