The tutorial may be too long but it is the best one I've seen so far. Just click forward, it is worth the watch.
you are a very good teacher and you explain things very well. I will be looking forward to seeing more of your videos
They were so much fun I made five. I luv fooling around with them. Thanks
Thank you for explaining and showing how to make these, as a previous viewer stated this is the easiest and clearest video explaing this craft. None of the previous videos I've watched tell you how long to leave the flowers and leaves to dry. I now feel confident to make these flowers and leaves. Kind regards Sandra
You are so welcome
I watched a few tutorials on this and ur the only one to show how to reinforce them, really enjoyed it, tfs :)
I have seen other videos, but this is the best. A lot simpler, but just as pretty. Thank you. My goodness, am I going to make flowers.
I am going to try these. I think they will go good around my fairy houses.... Thank you!
Thank you. I thought your instructions were awesome!

This is new to me and I am definitely making some of these today! Thank you for the clear direction in a great tutorial.
I am so glad to have found your channel! Your videos are NOT too long. I also appreciate that you show so many options for the very cool things that you demonstrate that make a truly mixed media presentation. I can't wait to make these lovely little flowers and will use them to embellish my art quilts and hangings. The thimble as flower pot was just terrific!

Thank you so much!!! I've been trying to do this for ages, and going wrong all the time, but I actually know how to do it now! I tried it, got a whole bunch of 'em to use now! Glad to see you have that foam too, I picked it up when I first had the idea to do these, I feel smart now lol! You're really nice to listen to, I really get your personality through the video😁
Love love love these! Going to give it a try.
I just love your flower pot thimble, it is adorable. I'm not sure I have the patience to make these cute little flowers but if I ever do I will definitely link to your video. Thank you for sharing how you made them.
This is a great idea. And a great way to use up some of that polish I don't like or that is getting old. They are beautiful. TFS
Love this Sigrid
I loved your video!! It was as if you were right next to me while i'm trying to make my own flower. I do need to get some green nail polish though. THANKS SO MUCH FOR BEING THERE!! What are we going to work on next?
Ignore all the negativity. I don't get it. You seem like a gentle and kind soul and I only go by the energy I pick up from peoples voices. Your tutorials are really nice and I appreciate them!
I just watched your video and let me tell you that you are superb with your technics and it really helped to do easily, thankyou very much.

What a bloody brilliant idea!! WOW. TYFS! It's always great to learn new ways to make your own embellishments. I have tonnes of old nail polish I don't use.:) MCC

***** I would love to see the video..Can u send it too me in a message?
I did see a tutorial on these and after the flowers were made before the painting of them.. they were dipped in wood glue and left to dry. Making sure the glue covers each petal...
Such a good tutorial! Thanks. Going to try this.
That is fantastic, and your instructions were very clear. wow, I will have to try this. Thank you so much. Thanks, DJ
These are so cool, I've saw them before but never tried it. You explained the method very clearly as well as giving tips along the way (e.g. the foam, vanilla essential oil, etc.) I saw Al John do this and she mentioned you so I ended up here, TFS
These are really beautiful Thanks for sharing.

You can add a little nail polish remover to old nail polishes to rejuvenate them

Sigrid, Have you tried thinning the thick nail polish a little with polish remover to make them usable?
ooh,im going to try this, luvv it!
***** yes,as soon as i have the time,i will do a video.
Love this video. I made one the first time around and it is beautiful.
I loved your tutorial and wonder if I could use the mass of UV nail polish I have and perhaps dry them in the UV dryer.
give it a go
Great tutorial Sigrid!! Thank you
ty
Thank you SO much for your tutorial, you make it look so easy and very informative. I’ve been trying different ways for making flower petals but they all seem to be different shapes and keep sliding off of the ‘pen’ that I’ve been using, so not very productive! I’m off now to give it another go, so keep your fingers crossed. Will keep you updated.
Love this. Great tutorial.
this really looks awesome. I am going to try this. I don't do videos but if I ever do I have no problem saying who I learned from. Thank you so much for sharing. They are beautiful! Oh new subscriber.
May i ask what kind of wire you're using? The brand? It looks awesome for this project!
That turned out really nice!!💜
Thank you! Cheers!
Awesome for sure going to try this! 🌻
Subscribed👍
Omg i did it! i cant believe it worked!!
What kind of wire are you using?
And when nail polish is too thick I add a little bit of nails polish remover and presto!!!
Thanks!!!
I love it! it looks easy thanks!
Thank you for your instructions. I tried another way with wood glue as a base it was frustrating, messy and it didn't work. I will definitely try this way. I'm going to try and master this I've got some time to practice. Very inspiring!
Hi Secret!! Thank you so much for sharing this.. You definitely made our night last night. Me and my daughter were trying to do these last night and no kidding it took forever and we couldn't seem to even get the petals right. Last night I found this video and made over 6 large flowers. The only thing I'm doing differently is dipping them in wood glue first then after drying painting the glue over the petals then we will use nail polish...I showed my daughter this morning and she was amazed. SO THANK YOU VERY MUCH. IT DIDNT SEEM TOO TERRIBLY LONG BUT I LEARNED ALOT AND THERE WAS ALOT OF INFORMATION... THANKS AGAIN.
Awesome Secret thank you for being an inspiration xxx found you through Stacy xxx
I can't wait to try this technique :) They almost look like they are made of crystal. I have a question: How durable are the petals? Don't they crack/ break overtime? If I would apply a coat of nail varnish will they last better?
Thanks for the tutorial :)
I know this vid is old but I've only just started on a mixed media journey and I have to tell you that I've looked at several nail polish/wire flower vids but yours is absolutely the best one. Many thanks for sharing ☺
Wow just found you and so your such a talented artist. One question. I have looked through every search and cannot find Aleena pendant gel? It seems discontinued. What can I use as a replacement? Thanks. You Rock!!!
What is the wire used for the flowers?
Beautiful great video thanks for sharing ❤️

Awesome video...you did great!!
Sorry for the rude comments!! I watched the previous one also, You do a wonderful Job and its your Time that people need to appreciate Secret. Keep doing EXACTLY what you do, you are the best!! Hugs.....
hello Jayne thank you
Did you watch the Threadbanger video? Part way through he found a YT vid that allowed him to create the nail polish flowers. Threadbanger just really trashes himself trying as a non-crafter to make things. These flowers and leaves you've made are beautiful and frankly inspiring. Thank you for this vid!
yes i agree with you Threadbanger guy is a fake crafter
If I didn't watch the video I could have sworn they were made out of nylon by the way that they look from the distance but I will give those a shot
I.don't mind the length. Many others are too. You are a good instructor. Pretty neat idea.
thank you
I just watched your video...pretty cool....I have about 200 bottles of nail polish that just sit in a basket, now I know what I can try to do with them....If I manage to work it out I will try to figure out how to post you some pictures! Thanks again for sharing!
rangoli

Rini from the Netherlands
I wrote a couple of weeks back saying these are lovely but I would not have the patience to make any... OK I have had to remove that comment LOL I am hooked on these now What Fun and so addictive Tyfs Sigrid
You make it look so easy. I've tried and tried and cannot get the nail polish to stay around the wire !!! I don't know what I'm doing wrong , but now that I saw a video , I'm gonna try again so thank you
What's the thing on the end of the stick

wouldn't dipping work better and faster?
have you tried?
and pull!!! lol... Love the simple way you explain things, so that anybody who wants can really understand and make the flowers. Loved the little flower pot you showed, it's adorable.
BTW saw the mold/toilet paper tutorial and you mention you have your own store. What kind? Do you do these crafts as a hobby or as work? Y por último... de donde sos?
***** I am from Argentina. I lived in the States for 12 years (9-21) but have been back for more than 30 years. I absolutely love crafts... all crafts... love finding new things and techniques and these flowers were one of them.Keep sharing your stuff in youtube and in your personal way... talking about everyday things... that makes the videos much more special. Do you have a Facebook page with your crafts?
Thank you very much for the detailed, patient and instructive video. I think you did a great job!
The only problem is that you kept wandering off to do things, or getting distracted and showing us other things like your box full of things and your Leaf tutorial which could have been a whole separate video or an add-on at the end, and this video ended up being a lot longer than it needed to be. Better to support your excellent teaching skills and patient instruction by going into it with a plan and being prepared with all of your materials handy.
Even if you felt those extra parts needed to be in there, they didn't need to be scattered throughout, as though you got distracted from what you were actually teaching us, because you're teaching is excellent, but the interruptions are not.
That could be easily fixed with some editing. I know a lot of people have such smooth editing that it looks like they do everything one time and in one take, but a lot of these videos, in fact most of them, have done it several times and then edited it down to one good video.
Even if you don't want to learn how to do it that well, you can still learn how to cut out the long bits like when you walked away and went looking for something and we're stuck just looking at the screen trying to fast forward to the right moment. There are video and audio production help videos for that right here on RUclips, or you could Google some up from almost anywhere.
You are creative, and skilled, and a good and detailed teacher--don't change any of that! You just need to add some video skills to your presentation and you will be above all the rest! 😃
Hola soy nueva en tu canal me encanto la manualidad de las mariposas gracias por compartir bendiciones.
It's really pretty but it takes a lot of patience . I enjoy your tutorial . Thank you Rose-Marie in Canada
Wow I'm going to try this , tnx :)
This is a cool technique, I have not seen this done with nail polish, who knew! Great job, and to my way of thinking, it was as long as it needed to be and, when I watch a you tube, I appreciate being a part of the conversation. This isn't a tv show, it's real life!!! Tch, some people-who think they know everything in the comment section, should just have their computers taken away =)
Interesting ..maybe I am going to try ..for fun
I tried but I can't do it! I'm not coordinated enough I'm afraid. lol. I love yours!!
i noticed in ur video u had a nail polish u said was 2 thick and that it was garbage just a fyi if u put a few drops of nail polish remover in the bottle u can thin it out and get more use of it. by the way luv the flowers. slimkim😝😜😀😍🌸
thank you for your tip i will have to give it a go
Pretty flowers no need for the nasty coments
I tried this and had no idea what I was doing until I watched this video. Gonna try again.
Your "mint" nail polish changes colors that's what the "chng" means that's also why there is two different colors on the lid.
They look neat but what do you do with them?
Darlene can make bracelets, necklaces, little plants, hair pins, magnets, buttons etc. :)
Styrofoam,thanks for sharing
Your teaching is too good to me
Thank you
I really love your voice
