i loved this as a kid. or teen. but now im not so sure... brilliant video, brilliant song. but also beautiful car that gets destroyed. that car would be worth so much nowadays. even just the chassis with no engine... i would love to own a car like that.. i dont know what it is, looks like a ford escort but maybe its a fiat or datsun or something. either way. beautiful car. what a shame.

There was another N.Z band named Bailterspace that had a backwards video from '94 I think, called Splat. In reference to The Goodshirt video, it came out in 2001. Coldplay's Fix you came out sometime after.

thats what i was thinking. i didnt know it was a mazda. but its a beautiful car, its simlar to the ford escort which is one of my favourite cars. looks like it would be worth a LOT of money to the right person today.
