Hello, could you please clarify in the "pause ... preview" tab when you create any feature what is the meaning of the two "connected/not connected to geometry" buttons? It's not so clear to me and you didn't talk about it. Thank you!
99.9% of the time it doesn't make a difference. The "not connected to geometry" option is faster for supremely complicated features. It sometimes mattered when it was introduced 21 years ago because computers were a lot less powerful. The kernel is also better. About the only time I ever use it is with Lattice features with thousands of beams. I didn't talk about it because you can go your entire Creo career and not need it.
Is it possible to use a single sketch to make two different extrusions? Very simple in Solidworks, but I'm getting "the selected geometry can not used by this tool" when I try to use a sketch which has already created an initial extrusion.
NVM - Figured it out. The original sketch stays visible in the feature tree (unlike SW) and you can use that for your second extrude. The sketch inside of the original extrude cannot be used.
Then there's something wrong with the sketch. In Sketch Mode, are the diagnostics showing any warnings? Do you have overlapping entities? Alternatively, you can try using Sketch Regions to extrude (see my videos on that topic).

I am unable to select my existing sketch and extrude the sketch. It will simply open the extrude tab.
