    Small story about this night-
Was down for the weekend for a Disney event and had a cruise on the Dream booked for Monday through Dreams Unlimited.
We had booked a Flying Fish reservation because it was finally reopened and we were excited to go back again. Well, apparently everyone else felt the same way because our reservation was for 7pm and while we were on the Skyliner heading that way they called us to tell us their reservations were over an hour behind and we wouldn’t get seated but that they would book something else for us. One of the options was Citrico’s and we had been wanting to do that so we accepted it.
We hustle to the monorail from the back of Epcot to the front and head our way over to the Grand. We get to Citrico’s for them to tell us no one from Flying Fish had actually booked anyone and we were the 7th party from Flying Fish to show up there. Yet they graciously and unbelievably nicely seated us anyway and the place was pretty full. At the time I was thinking what a ridiculous ordeal. Lo and behold though we had a fantastic meal and we saw you guys coming in and out of the Sommelier room. We thought how cool to see the Dreams Unlimited team and we ended up having a fantastic meal.
Sometimes you really never know how things will turn out until they all of it happens

Even though I agree with the previous comments that Deni would have been value added, I have enjoyed everyone’s impressions of this dining experience! I, too, do not drink alcohol (ever and never) and I am so ecstatic that there is a Disney restaurant that can cater to us in these special experiences! I'm surprised that so many of the mocktails have to be so sweet. I love the term "Universally hated" - too funny. Love that Drake is still standing as the "designated drinker". While I certainly appreciate the amount of detail the video devotes to the non-alcoholic drinks including the server's descriptions and the diners' reviews, I would have also liked to know what wines they were pairing with the dishes and serving to Drake. No doubt the server or chef presented the names of the producers, the vintages, the regions and the varietals. Mostly, all we got here was: "This white wine went really well with the dish." Was it a Sauvignon Blanc from the Sancerre, or New Zealand, or California? Maybe a White Bordeaux? Semillon? A fair number of viewers are going to opt for the wine pairings, and in deciding whether the expense is justified, knowing more about the wines would be a great help. If you happen to have this information handy, perhaps you can provide some further detail.

The strawberry salad, hamachi, duck and truffle Mac and cheese are all favorites. The blackberry tart was wonderful too. My servers at both meals were excellent and recommended great wine pairings. So even if you are unable to experience the room you will have a memorable experience in the beautiful dining room. The gamey flavor in duck comes from what the duck ate in life, or from the duck being improperly slaughtered. It doesn't come from the cooking of the duck. That duck was farm raised, and every duck will taste exactly the same every time you order it. Also, duck isn't that difficult to cook. It's on par with steak. In my opinion, the only time it gets difficult is when you make Peking Duck, and that's because it's labor intensive. I've worked the back of the house, both on the line and the bakery. I've also worked in slaughterhouses.

I get what you’re saying, but the complexity of the n/a drinks is equal and possibly greater value …so they received the full experience. My husband and I treated ourselves to Party for the Senses in 2015 and I would view this dinner as a similar thing calling it an event. It's not just dinner - it's an experience. Figure attending a Broadway play and having dinner as another example.

Disney Dining, This style of dining is becoming very popular with drink pairings etc. But upto now it's only been at 6 star hotel's. Nice to see Disney do it at a 5 star. I hope Deni was'nt doing the dishes to help pay for it all. Cheer's Chris Perry.

The blue cheesecake was plated and presented so beautifully, I still want to try it even though you guys hated it lol. The addition of chives seems a little strange, when the dish was already very experimental to begin with.

$250 per person for 9 courses with wine pairing at Citricos may be the biggest bargain in Disney World. A little disappointing that they only serve the regular menu items, but those items are consistently very good. I think I got a cavity watching all those sweet drinks go down though. When dining in the Sommelier Room, not drinking wine is sacrilegious. Drake, hold your wine glass by the stem not the bowl.
