    Either the thumbnail is wrong, or you copied the problem for the video wrong. The exponent for the left side starting is (1-cos^3θ) in the thumbnail, where you solved for it being (1+cos^3θ). With it being minus, I believe one needs to use the quadratic formula to find the other roots and the quadratic equation results in irrational roots, and therefore more awkward solutions. Either way, thank you for your time and teaching.

      3rd quadrant cos values r negative so u get -1/2 not 1/2
