Watching your videos encourages me to get more organized. I love that you don't use tons of decorations on the pages so the text is the focus. My first experience with planners was at a scrapbook event and I didn't like it because it seemed too time consuming. Your way looks much easier and the ideas I've used so far have helped me focus on the activities that need attention. With two kids the pages fill up 😳
Hi , I've been a fly lady for years working in and out of the home. I have the fly journal but it is too large and cumbersome. I wanted to re organize. There are so many videos and examples, but the key is to mentally and visually connect. Your style of a planner immediately makes me comfortable. I want to thank you for privately answering my questions about organizing my pages to my lifestyle and helping me best choose the pages that fit my needs. Good luck flying and succeeding on your Etsy business.
I love my Mildliners, I use them for everything and they never seem to dry out. The range of colors is great (I think I have 15 so far). Another little tip if you don't have scissors handy is to use the side of a ruler or a credit card as a rip guide for your washi...it makes it easier to use washi on the go 😊
I've used the flylady system for over 15 years as a homemaker. Now I'm a payroll flylady and I was looking for an example from someone who works outside the home so I will be following your videos on how you use it. Also I just received my planner binder from Amazon today, yay! I really like your planner pages. And would like to know...What planner pages do you recommend I start out with? Also where did you purchase the colorful dividers?
Hi Terese, Thanks so much for your interest! The pages to start out with in your planner depend on your needs. What sort of things to you want to keep track of? The basic inserts I recommend to everybody are a weekly and a monthly layout, then you can add on to those based on what you want to track(i.e. yearly events, cleaning, food, budget, etc.). What size planner are you using? I can send you some links to the inserts I am loving right now. Also, I bought these tabs from the Martha Stewart collection at Staples. They were originally letter size and punched for a disc bound notebook, so, I just trimmed them down to personal and A5 size (I made the same dividers for both sizes)and repunched them. I made them about a year ago, so I'm not sure if they are still at Staples. =) They may even be on Amazon by now! Thanks, Amy PlansMeetPaper
The planner you see in this video is actually a personal size planner but I also have an A5 that I love to use as well! My favorite weekly and monthly inserts for my A5 right now are: Monthly Layout (undated, if you are looking for a dated monthly layout you may want to check other etsy shops or amazon): www.etsy.com/listing/466351469/printable-half-letter-month-on-two-pages?ref=shop_home_active_44 Weekly Layout Options:1. Horizontal Lined Week on 2 Pages www.etsy.com/listing/549695021/printable-half-letter-horizontal-weekly?ref=shop_home_active_3 2. Horizontal Lined Week on 2 Pages with Tracking Boxes (Can use boxes for meal planner or food tracking) www.etsy.com/listing/535891918/printable-weekly-planner-insert-half?ref=shop_home_active_4 I also have a lot of inserts for tracking things like cleaning, food, fitness, yearly events, etc. Let me know if you have any further questions!
Hi Rachel, They were originally half letter size in the Martha Stewart Collection at Staples. I trimmed them down and punched the holes! Thanks, Amy PlansMeetPaper
It is kinda like stir fry, really yummy. Here is one recipe for it that I have used before: scottys-place.blogspot.com/2015/03/a-couple-of-dinners.html
Hi Marie, I punch the pages regularly first and then I use a pair of scissors to slit the holes. I only do this on my daily pages and some notes pages since I take those pages out the most often. Let me know if you have any further questions! Thanks, Amy
Annette Robinson you can either use a single hole punch and use a pre-punched page as a guide or you can purchase a 6-hole punch (you can get one at michaels for about $10-13 if you use a coupon)

Nice system; functional and clean
Your handwriting is so cute!

Hi can you tell me how you get your pages to pull right out. Are you putting something on the pages? Thanks in advance.
Hi Marie,
I punch the pages regularly first and then I use a pair of scissors to slit the holes. I only do this on my daily pages and some notes pages since I take those pages out the most often. Let me know if you have any further questions!
Thanks,
Amy
Curious- you've highlighted certain tasks each day. Is there a reason those specific tasks are highlighted?
Hi Angie,
I highlight my main priority/ goal for the day. I like how it makes the task stand out and adds some color to the page!
If I order your page downloads and print them out, how do I punch the sets of holes?
Annette Robinson you can either use a single hole punch and use a pre-punched page as a guide or you can purchase a 6-hole punch (you can get one at michaels for about $10-13 if you use a coupon)
Do you have the daily lined pages you use to break down your daily schedule in your etsy shop?
Yes, thanks for your interest! Here is the link:

PlansMeetPaper Do you ever do any sales or coupon codes on Etsy?
I have never done sales or coupon codes before. If I ever do decide to do one, I will be sure to post a video about it! =)
