I WAS 20 TO 30 FEET AWAY FORM WHEAR YOU WAS FILMING THE SHOTS NEAR THE PIER I WAS JUST ON THE PIER IT WAS ONE HELL OF A STORM NICE VIDEO MAN KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
I wouldn't want to take a kayak out in in though! Looks pretty rough to me. You're right about The Great Lakes. Over the years, there have been about 5,000 shipwrecks there. Doesn't matter the size of the ship, the lakes can sink any of them if they are caught out in a storm.
The angry sea indeed. It was like that along here as well. I was very tempted to go out with my camera, but i was concerned it might get a bit wet!! The music was just right for this :)
I was down the seafront feeling this storm first-hand and at close quarters, it was pretty frickin awesome, I love storms and mad weather events, we don't often get them in the UK but when we do its great to see a true force of nature do its thing. I know that weather causes havoc & destruction many places around the world, that lives are sometimes lost & obviously, it has to be said, that is sad & not something to glorify but storms are also things of beauty. I hope you get what I mean....
it looked amazing i should have got some better shots from the other side of the pier but ut really was rough and i was worried about my camera i went to the marina and it nearly swept me away on the drivethanks for commenting
Yeah, no kayaks for me either in that rough surf. BTW, I was joking a bit because that is very bad surf and winds. I have to publicize the Graet Lakes though for tourists and unwarned salties.
hey thanks so much for the nice comments ive had time off this week and been trying to make vlog videos and become very discouraged and dissolusioned :-( i have equipment that doesent meet the job and the slowest computer on earth and half the time cant find anything to say and when i look at some of the stuff on here people are waffleing on about rubbish and have loads of subscribers Why ??? of course there are some great genuine loveable funny people here like musof and genetic blend etc
yeah the camera did get wet there were lots of other people videoing it as well i guess for youtube i should have used my old camera it was silly using it for this with all the salt water flying around its not even a proper video camera just a casio exilim i dropped my forst brand new one on a beach in san francisco and filled it with sand so had to replace it with this one !!

Looks calmer than the Great Lakes there, particularily Lake Superior. Search for "Big Ass Waves", very fast moving too, in Duluth, MN ship canal.

Wonder how the west pier liked this storm
