Great selection guys. Brings back a lot of nostalgia. And although the word “Nasha” literally means addiction, in this case it means enchantment - that of first love. This is a very nice movie of the time and I believe you will love it as one of Amir Khan’s early works
Here in the lyrics, a comparison or similarity is drawn between first Nasha or Khumaar or intoxication---meaning a state of being drunk a very first time---and a state of falling in love for the first time, a whole new experience!!!🤔
You people couldn't notice that although it is filmed as a slow motion song, their lip-syncing is perfect!!! How??? I would recommend this film or Hum Hai Rahi Pyaar Ke if you really want to see Aamir's film from the earliest stage of his career.☕☕
Guys interesting thing to note about the choreography.....parts of the song where actors dance in slow motion...their lips still sync up with song's lyrics sung at the original tempo :) !!!
JatinLalit are brothers who went on to make iconic songs for blockbuster movies in the 90s mainly like DDLJ. This is a very sweet movie with great songs.
1. Beautiful song. There're many great Aamir Khan's songs from the 90s. Mostly with the voice of Udit Narayan who was back then the "Aamir's " voice. Try songs from Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin or Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke. 2. Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar is a good early 90s film aging really well. Maybe a bit overlong but its last hour is great. You may watch it for very young Aamir Khan
Iconic song ! Every kid growing up in the 80s and 90s had Pehla Nasha and Papa Kehte hain as their favourite songs. What lyrics, tune, melody and voice quality !
Thank you supporter for choosing this song!!! Keep up doing such work Yaar. During 90s, when Salman, Sharukh and Aamir were just stars---though hugely popular among the youth---three singers got fame as their voices individually. Of course, they sang for every one, Udit Narayan became the voice for Aamir Khan, SPB was the voice of Salman, whereas the singer linked to SRK was Abhijeet whose voice suited him the most!
How was Aamir Khan the supporting character in Rangeela? He was one of the leads, also with nomination as a best actor for this performance, which is still considered as one of his best and very much loved
Hi Jimmy, please checkout an upload by SangeetVerse, titled ‘Top 100 songs of Mohammed Raf’. They are short clips but will show how he reined the airwaves during the 1950s to 1970s. The only other singer who could match Lata Mangeshkar. His songs provided the Golden period of Bollywood film music. You will get a good insight to his contribution to the industry. His voice remained unchanged over the decades. This would finally acknowledge and honour the legend that is Mr Rafi, by you. All the songs were huge hits and are still remembered and played by Indian film lovers, from days when the music so often decided the fate of the film. 🙏
I would recommend watching Hum Hai Rahi Pyar Ke from Aamir's older movies. Has great songs aswell. It's more of a kids movie but enjoyable to watch. People will also recommend Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and this movie but i don't think they're as good but you might enjoy them like others do. Both of them have great songs in them aswell.
Guys looks like you are not getting good suggestions for movies. Being a telugu guy, i will suggest some telugu movies. Sagara Sangamam (kamal hassan) Rudraveena Swarnakamalm Seeta ramayya gari manavaralu Swati Kiranam Chantabbai Manam Janatha Garage Athadu Wouldnt usually suggest these to first time watchers. But you both are into indian cinema for so long, i am hoping that you will understand the intrensics in these movies.
@D_Thing dude. When did I deny them to watch hindi movies/songs. Just giving them options after looking at their recent posts. Earlier they used to critically review our (indian) movies. But now they are not doing that often. You can go ahead and suggest them whatever you want. Come out of that narrow mindedness. You are an Indian from north and I am from south. You suggest what you want and I will do what I want. Grow up.
This has been the favourite song of many Indians since the time it was released.

its more like "intoxication"
Aamir khan is the King khan.
Aamir khan is the King of Indian film history .
The song played in slow motion, yet the actors' lip movements were perfectly synchronized with the lyrics, making it a notable aspect.
😅😅😅😅

for every 80s, 90s kid falling in the love for the first time, this song became their anthem..
This song always brings nostalgia ... I was in school and so many things comes back to mind when I hear this beautiful song
Sikandar is the Indian name of Alexander. So Sikandar means king of kings
The song can also be translated as “My first high”. Does that make sense but that’s what it means
The guy in blue 🔵 looks a lot like Mcaulay Culkin ❤ with all of the love ❤
first song I attempted to learn on a keyboard 😅 nostalgiaaaaaa
Ah yes very good hindi choice after a while!
This is the best movie of Aamir Khan 🎉😊
Wow...childhood memories
An iconic song from India film songs...
Sadhana Sargam❤❤❤honey coated voice
The first song to be shot in slow motion in india is in the manirathnam’s telugu movie geetanjali
Yes ..Udit is best singer
"First addiction" though 😂😂😂😂
How was Aamir Khan the supporting character in Rangeela? He was one of the leads, also with nomination as a best actor for this performance, which is still considered as one of his best and very much loved
He intends to say there were two heroes in Rangeela, not his solo film as the hero.
Saroj Khan walked out.... Farah Khan the then genz cashed in 😇
This movie is my childhood favourite
For the last 30 years this has been the anthem of young lovers in india.

When's the next collaboration with Our Stupid Reactions coming? It's always so fun when you guys review together!!! Please do another.
Don't know yet... hopefully soon :D
this song.. every indian must have heard at least once. its legendary song
Jimmy did you pick up on the fact that the song was pictured in slow mo but they lip synced at normal/ fast pace and there is a match.
That's great :)
I like this song very much 💞 my childhood memories ❤☺️
Beautiful song!
The song was recorded in double speed and while syncing the video was played in half speed so the song became in sync with the video
It is not tombstone it is stone that shows distance between cities
It's not Tombe Stone.....
It's Mile Stone 😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah ':D
You should watch the classic comedy 'Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi' starring Kishore Kumar, Madhubala and Ashok Kumar.

Thank you ☺️
The synopsis you read it so not what this film is about. The film is about the redemption of a truant son.
It's not who wins is a king... it's who wins is Alexander
Fact check. It was not the first song shot in slow motion (sped up frames/ second) . The first one was 20 yrs earlier. HK

When they are doing Hindi song, why are you stuffing into here your south-indian matters? Hindi me toh hindi walo ki chalne do!
