These episodes are just pure gold through and through. If there was a Mt.Rushmore of shows that were gold all the way through, Mr.Robot would be on there no doubt
Yes! Please do Severance! It is incredibly well done on all levels like very few shows achieved, nevertheless in their first season. Severance 9 episodes are so tight with world building, mysteries and surprising reveals like I haven't seen since the first season of Mr. Robot came out. And there is so much to dig in for a filmmaker with Severance, exquisite cinematography, light, use of colors, set design. Treat yourself!
Severance is sooo good! You will love it! Beside a very great and unique story, everything is top notch, the acting, camera, lighting and optics and design (little inside joke :). Would love to see your severance reaction right now, because long awaited season 2 starts in January!
“What is going on ?! What is happening?!!” Welcome to the last 3 episodes. 😅 I think I’ve said the same thing 50x over when I reacted to it. Can’t wait for the last 2. Incredible television.
James, please do Severance. Season 2 comes out next month. Only 9 episodes and I guarantee you will love it. One of the most unique shows i've seen in a long time.
Severance is actually one of my favorite tv shows that has come out in the past decade. It is so incredibly unique and unlike anything I’ve ever watched
Elliot said to his dad: *"If she finds out it will ruin everything"* (about surprise for Angela). Sad irony is that in the real history of the show - when Angela found out who organized fsociety and joined - *it was the beginning of the end. And it literally led to ruins* .
Just had to come by commenting that I was laughing when the reveal towards the end happened. So, James from a couple of weeks ago is definitely salty from second-guessing himself. 😁
The Hadron collider build up laid out the multidimensional priming, though I wouldn't say it's a (sister) multiverse node, but a child simulation/instance collapsing instead with a nod to ascension up the tree.
S1EP1: *"Exciting time in the world right now"* S4EP11: *"It's an exciting time in the world"* It's so beautiful and sad when you realize that the first time Mr.Robot said this to Elliot - they had so much ahead on their way, they became a part of these times. And now Elliot said the same thing to Mr. Robot - realizing that this time has come to an end and exciting new times are beginning and they may not be there because of explosion (I think they were ready to die there). It is both a feeling of satisfaction and longing. This phrase loops the big story. Hits every time. P.S. And if they had died here, *our Elliot* would never have known...
This showdown between Elliot and Whiterose exemplifies how messy and grey the world - and the human condition - is, and that people can share similarly dark histories, but end up on different paths and at different destinations. It's not hard to see how Elliot could have been just as destructive as Whiterose had it not been for his unwavering network of support (Angela, Darlene, Krista). As Elliot spoke about the people that loved him, Whiterose's face, to me, spoke of someone who never had that same support, and I think she most likely wouldn't be where she is today had she received the same 'relentless' love that Elliot did I genuinely believe no one does horrible things for the shits and giggles. There is a reason (not an excuse); whether it's biological, psychological. environmental, sociological, or all of the above. Elliot and Whiterose are two individuals who were dealt a terrible hand, and due to varying factors were set down different paths
Lol, you've done so well censoring the language but this episode broke you and the wtfs were flying and I totally get it. I expect a few more in the last episodes.
Might be my favorite episode in this show... If they stood by that reveal and kept it as the real ending, it would actually explain so much and would actually make Sense. Remember angela saying to tyrell "i need to be the first he sees when he wakes up"? And elliot broken phone in the beginning of season 1? I think sam was afraid to take it sci fi for real. But the foundations were there and it would make it a perfect and fitting reveal in a way that would be in keeping with the themes of the show
That wouldnt have fixed Elliot though... He would have remained a broken piece, even if the world around him ended up being perfect. The scifi part is still there, since i truly believe that Whiterose had the means to do what she wanted to. Elliot just stopped the machine and prevented it from actually happening.
( THIS IS NOT A SPOILER) I like how the show never reveals the Whiterose project, it's left to imagination and at some point I think everyone thought it was a time machine. I think, and this is just my vision of it, that Whiterose's plan was about killing everyone and rebuilding them. Since the beginning we see the gather of people's data and this "project" is supposed to be something futuristic, so my understanding is that she was trying to literally create people. Create the man that she loved and recreate herself in the way that she wanted, kill and create the world to Whiterose's vision. Quite literally playing God without permission.
18:20 love how this community you have hasn’t spoiled anything about this amazing show that is so underrated
Been waiting all day for this, I'm so excited to watch the next 3 episode
That entire conversation with DONT MAKE ME LAUGH and Elliot's monolog -- oh my god! *chef's kiss*
I love that when we go to this "alternate reality" where everything changes, the camera work and music change too
These episodes are just pure gold through and through. If there was a Mt.Rushmore of shows that were gold all the way through, Mr.Robot would be on there no doubt

A true gem. There's nothing like it.

Your reaction was awesome to watch, thanks for that!

Severance needs to be at the top of your list. It's a masterclass.
This was such a mindfuck when I first saw it. Like no way can they introduce alternate realities in the 3rd last episode.
Severance is actually one of my favorite tv shows that has come out in the past decade. It is so incredibly unique and unlike anything I’ve ever watched
*Starting to watch now*
The final confrontation...
Sooooo good... :)

One of the best final protagonist/antagonist scenes on tv, ngl
Severance is pretty underrated
Just had to come by commenting that I was laughing when the reveal towards the end happened.

Many series give you answers towards the end of the a season. This show makes you have loads more question then u started.
This episode was such a fantastic curveball. I remember reddit going absolutely nuts after episode 11.
How do you spend not even 20 minutes on this episode!? Elliot & WR's monologues are some of the best acting and television i've ever seen.
There are a lot of completely silent uninterrupted scenes, there's not much to do without showing the show uninterrupted lmao
The Hadron collider build up laid out the multidimensional priming, though I wouldn't say it's a (sister) multiverse node, but a child simulation/instance collapsing instead with a nod to ascension up the tree.
When i saw this episode i HAD to finish the series immediately
I mean, now obviously this show won't be any weirder, right? 🤣
"What the hell you mean there's only two episodes left, what is happening?"
S1EP1: *"Exciting time in the world right now"*
S4EP11: *"It's an exciting time in the world"*

Cheeseburger guy is one of the best characters ever. Love it!
Great reaction as always. Would give just about anything to watch you react to Bojack Horseman. Love the content!!
13:52 your answer is when he told Elliot to put him next to the god damn window 😂
Now you have time for the two seasons of Patriot
So much fun watching you wtf all over the place.
YOU NEED TO WATCH ENTOURAGE YOU NEED TO WATCH ENTOURAGE YOU NEED TO WATCH ENTOURAGE,,,,,,it is such an amazing show!
Woooo here we go!!!
If you would like a 1 off short series, I would recommend Generation Kill

Dude, you have no idea what the final episode will be like. Enjoy the last few moments of this ride as it slowly pulls back into the platform.
I love you too 😢
For the love of glob please react to The Wild Robot. Best movie I've seen this year.
If you like this mind****, you'll definitely love Severance. It's amazing.
Lol, you've done so well censoring the language but this episode broke you and the wtfs were flying and I totally get it. I expect a few more in the last episodes.

@bomber9912 I like that idea. That it actually did work but he rejected it. Interesting.
