You need one of those castable fish finder ball things( 'n stuff) that Ben has. It would be interesting to know how deep that hole was and also a general idea of the fish population. Guessing by how many you caught, there are a bunch in there. I wouldn't doubt if there are a few 20-30lb monster channels down at the bottom of that thing... Plus, it might also help your ice fishing to have a more mobile fish finder for jumping around to different ice holes.
That was sick! Beautiful place too. When that catfish was taking drag, I was thinking , damn, that place isn't even big enough to take that much line. Must be super deep. Pretty work

Fished that lake today as so many of the Northeast Kansas reservoirs are still flooded. Caught a few small wipers by the dam but before calling it a day decided to give the spillway a try and wasn't disappointed. It was worth the walk through all the tall weeds.
