[NEW] Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service - Emergency One Scorpion Water Tower Turnout

Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service (GMFRS) - New Emergency One Scorpion Water Tower and Second Pump from Salford seen here turning out to an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) in Manchester City Centre last week, 16/07/2020. Both appliances seen here on Blue Lights and Sirens including an American-style Rumbler overlay on the siren which is believed to be the 1st UK fire appliance to have this feature.
The E1 Scorpion is a new fire appliance, similar to the Rosenbauer Stinger used by Lancashire FRS, that combines the role of a standard pumping appliance and a specialist capability in which this case is a Water Tower / High Reach Extendable Turret (HRET) system that can extend to a height of up to 20m. This means it can be used in the same capacity as a Hydraulic Platform that's being used as a Water Tower.
The Scorpion was initially going to be sent to Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service but instead is now on loan to GMFRS for a 6-month evaluation period and it will be a frontline operational pumping appliance at Salford Community Fire Station under the callsign G58P1. This was one of the first callouts the appliance has attended.
