August, when the scorching heat is at its peak. We just randomly climbed the winding mountain paths of Yeongwol, Gangwon-do. In a place where you wonder if people could live, we came across a picturesque house reminiscent of a heavenly garden. Im So-hyeon and Kim Young-mi, a couple who enjoy this summer in the sweltering heat of midsummer, sometimes hotly and sometimes leisurely! They grow over 180 kinds of flowers and crops! In the native persimmon field that they grow in the natural order, pure white dandelion flowers are in full bloom. The couple’s garden is full of seasonal ingredients that are full of summer! The tomato basil pasta they make in the mountains is the couple’s summer delicacy. On a summer day when cool raindrops pour down, there is no greater luxury than listening to the sound of rain, birdsong, and the wind.
