I have used pods in my front loader for years. Never had an issue. I throw it in the machine then add my clothes. Never had a problem they always break down. I even use cold water for most of my loads.

So long as the water is piping hot then pods are a great option. Good info! I have gas water heater it gets the water very hot🥵

Sounds like pods will work pretty well for you then! Thanks for watching.

Well dang...this just seals the deal. I was trying to decide between the LG Washtower and the Electrolux Laundry Tower. In so many aspects, it seems as though the Electrolux is just a little bit better thought out (at least for my needs). I also like the fact that it's a "dumb" laundry unit. I don't need everything in my house to connect to the internet! Thanks for the great explanation!

Glad to hear it was helpful! I would verify that the tower has the pod dispenser first, however. In this video we were just featuring this specific model that has it but I can't remember if the tower has it. Thanks for watching!

I'd be getting the 6-series tower, and that one definitely has the pod dispenser! Thanks!

Get the LG. It’s much more serviceable and definitely has much better options. The Electrolux is definitely not as good quality build and the lack of a accesible drain filter just echoes that fact.

I have the next model down - ELFW7537 and it’s been amazing. The pods have worked well. I used to hate using them because of all those reasons but now I really enjoy using them in this machine.

Can someone find out is this particular model the old belt & pully system. If not does Blake carries similar models in his shop with belt & pulley system?

Have never used pods in any machine. I switched to detergent sheets a couple of years ago. No plastic!
