I'd thought of making a shmups music mix for myself before and how much I like to listen to them for almost everyday, there's never one uploaded mix of shmups music anywhere on youtube so this is something I'm surprised you were making too. Can't believe how much the shmups music has contribute to me.
You should make one sometime! Its honestly doesnt take too long if you have a collection of tracks already in mind. Even if things don't quite "mix" perfectly together with how they sound, I've found simple cross fades and hard cuts between tracks that at least keep on beat are more than enough for me. I'm definitely going to make another one too, as I wanted to include more from Bullet Hell Monday, CAVE, Hellsinker, Raiden, and a few others. Was really trying to keep this one to a max of 30min though, and the tracks to match the kinda EDM vibe that Espgaluda has. Discovering all the remix/arrange tracks included here was a treat. Would love to also someday learn how to use DAW to make a few remixes of my own to toss in to these larger projects. Something that's been on my mind for a while is a set that's all just chiptune remixes of shmups and arcad-y OSTs. Tracker software is just as difficult to use though, aha. @@xeirla222 I should be able to make one If I got the time to build up my editing skills, I've done this before for other videos If I put more effort and experiment with mixing and making music transition (doesn't have to be exactly perfect) It might take a little practice to make a mix myself. My only source of editing software is mainly Davinci and there's already many features I have the freedom to try out that would including music mixing and adding some filters whenever I make a gameplay videos outside of shmups, but I'm sure it has an editing features for using tracker music displaying on the video but I don't know how much It would take to do so I'll give it a try, of course It was only just a basic start to say the least but I should get myself together and doing a little bit of editing will get me somewhere and It will make for a much of entertaining part of those videos If I ever make another long hour gameplay videos that requires some heavy editing, which should be manageable If I know what the methods are. I have some music storing on my hard drive to use for music mixing as well, I've been binging on playing STELLAVANITY and I've put a lot of time to it esepcially .Decluster & Zero, I still need to explore Namiki composition.
