  • John and Steve recently saw country legend Emmylou Harris in concert in Halifax. The show was her first appearance ever in the Nova Scotia capital despite having strong connections to the city. Harris married Halifax native Brian Ahern in the city in January 1977. Ahern went on to produced Harris’s first 14 albums, as well as dozens of others by the likes of Anne Murray, Johnny Cash, Rodney Crowell, Glenn Campbell, George Jones and a host of others. #vinylcommunity

Hi John and Steve! Thanks for the overview of ELH's current tour. It sounds like she continues to set an extremely high standard. I've been a fan since her early days. My favorite LPs are Elite Hotel, Roses In the Snow and Blue Kentucky Girl. She released a live Nash Ramblers Band era LP a year or two ago and it is excellent as well. I'm hoping to see her in Durham this September, fingers crossed it works out. Keep the great content up, enjoying what you guys are doing.
