Next album is going to be a somber mix of Node and Singularity albums, as they once said. So these two singles are probably the weakest tracks in that album
This song reminds me a lot of a softer, more upbeat version of eclipse from alien, especially with the way it slows down at the end, I'm excited to see how the album turns out
Song grew on me very quickly. Honestly - 13 songs so I'm not worried. They can only build off of Alien. For what it's worth, it has a similar pattern to Eclipse and that was my least favorite song on Alien so if this is Obsidians version of it then count me in.
8:00 I understand that. It is a good song with exciting moments yet the whole song did not excite me yet I like it! also the chorus was probably intentional given the title name Echo Chamber.
I absolutely love this. It did grow on me, haha. First listen was a bit confusing but overall, a real nice treat to things that are to come 👑🙂 looking forward to these new songs
I like Clockwork better, but this song is catchy and I enjoyed it. I like the pop to heavy progression within the track. I agree with many others that it’s not on par with Alien, but Northlane is still the only metalcore band IMO that can incorporate electronics into their music and have it be natural rather than feel forced.
You're right about the variety, If you watch Northlane's ig posts you'll listen to very different tunes they've been working with, ambience, heaviness, DJONG
Yeah I heard him say that and was like... Who the fuck thinks this track is better than some of the absolutely amazing music that's been released this year?? Honestly I don't think this song is even very good. It's literally just the same riff over and over again for the entire song.
It grows on you and it’s one of my favorite songs by Northlane but I think that I still prefer listening to Clockwork but this single is definitely on my playlist 🤘
When Bloodline came out I was not really a fan of it but once I heard all of Alien, I liked the song way more in the context of the rest of the album. I'm hoping that it will be the same for this song!
i listen this song like .. its ok, but then BAD OMENS dropped insane dune style epic single and i was lost in that song.. anyway, i wonder how Northlane will top it up 'alien' album? will they swim, drown or simply disapear
echo chamber needs a good promo to fuckin AAAAMMMPP up the guitars. Static X in 00's. The riff is all the song needs. Forget the rest. Ramp those chugs SOMEBODY PLEASE
Music video is fun. I like the snippet at the beginning saying that “robotics” made this video possible because they couldn’t all get together, and then it cuts to the robots and it’s just manikins moving around very stiffly. As far as the repetition of the song I think it lends to the echo chamber concept. The entire structure of the song is very repetitive lyrically and musically with minor differences throughout. Not song of the year, but I love Northlane and it’s been playing a couple times a day since it came out.
Has a nice groove to it, not a mind blowing song but not every song has to be. New single from the boys in Greyhaven called All Candy! Probably not what you’d expect from them but it’s really fuckin good!
I knew as soon as I heard it that I wouldn't really like it until after 6th listen. It's definitely a grower song. Not top 10 but if it comes on I won't turn it
There's nothing spectacular about this song but this shows a lot of promise with something to look forward to. You can already tell there's gonna be variety on this album as they're trying new things. I'm expecting another level of experimentation here from Northlane.
I’m still that guy, I miss when Adrian was in Northlane. I’ve never been a fan of this direction or the current vocalist. This song didn’t do anything for me personally, but this song is certainly for other’s.
Song of the year? Dead birbi, stop trusting overly excited people. 😂 To me personally it's too repetitive and it reminds me of their stuff right before "Alien" with a mix of the techno vibe they seem to want to move forward with. What scares me is that "Alien" had very dark lyrics linked to the past of the vocalist. It really resonated with him and it showed. A lot of people were very negative towards the albums with Marcus prior to "Alien". I still enjoy this song, but it doesn't impress me compared to any of the songs on "Alien".
Thus song was alright. Wish it had a bigger hook. The song felt kinda samey the whole way through. And with veil of maya and volumes putting out the choruses they are northlane needs to step it up.
Pretty disappointing if I'm honest. Alien had so many bangers, I'm crossing my fingers hoping Obsidian is the same. But Echo Chamber was a bit of a dud for me.
Even if this wasn't Northlane and this was some other band that had a different sound, it's just not a good song. It's repetitive, the groove doesn't change at all the whole song other than just slowing down at the end. I will never come back to this song. Alien was cool but I haven't really vibed with Northlane since singularity
This song is really boring. Northlane and Thornhill biggest disappointments so far this year. Hopefully Aussie metalcore isn't going downhill. Silent Planet and Volumes will save us with their albums hopefully.
Echo Chamber or Clockwork?
Clockwork
Clockwork for me! God tier band 🙏🏻🖤
Echo chamber for me
Echo chamber
Clockwork
This song is grower. That dance beat throughout the song really makes it a fun listen. The slow down into the breakdown was chefs kiss 👌
I fucking love this song! I think Obsidian will beat Alien, with that being said, I do adore Alien!
Next album is going to be a somber mix of Node and Singularity albums, as they once said. So these two singles are probably the weakest tracks in that album
Went for a run last night with this tune on repeat.
Holy fuck I ran better than I have I'm AGES, do it, shits HYPE as fuck
They have such a wicked guitar tone. I love them.
VERY catchy. Love it! Perfect listen for running.
This song's vibe is amazing, Love that Northlane are always trying do do some different yet being solid keeping their heart and essence
This song reminds me a lot of a softer, more upbeat version of eclipse from alien, especially with the way it slows down at the end, I'm excited to see how the album turns out
100% same

Same here and this is miles better than eclipse🔥

This will be my record of 2022 almost certainly Alien was mine in 2019 so I’m sure they’ll keep the trend up
You're right about the variety, If you watch Northlane's ig posts you'll listen to very different tunes they've been working with, ambience, heaviness, DJONG
I love Northlane but song of the year? Not a chance.
Yeah I heard him say that and was like... Who the fuck thinks this track is better than some of the absolutely amazing music that's been released this year?? Honestly I don't think this song is even very good. It's literally just the same riff over and over again for the entire song.

Awesome! Great work
Didn't like it first but now I'm loving it
BIRB!! You have to listen to Pandora by Fit For An Autopsy!!
When Bloodline came out I was not really a fan of it but once I heard all of Alien, I liked the song way more in the context of the rest of the album. I'm hoping that it will be the same for this song!

This track is a slow burner for sure. Love it now
I agree with you that marcus’ growls sounded extra crispy in this song
NEW ANGELMAKER IS FIRE

Yo birb you gonna react to the new bullet for my valentine album? Would love to hear your opinion on it
You should check out Rolo Tomassi - Drip that also dropped today
A decent song and would be fun to hear live but it didn't knock me over the way Clockwork did earlier in the year
My thoughts exactly
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Has a nice groove to it, not a mind blowing song but not every song has to be. New single from the boys in Greyhaven called All Candy! Probably not what you’d expect from them but it’s really fuckin good!
This music video is so funny and I can't explain it
This song is cool as fuck
Gotta check out Rain City Drive - Cutting it Close (formerly known as Slaves)
I knew as soon as I heard it that I wouldn't really like it until after 6th listen. It's definitely a grower song. Not top 10 but if it comes on I won't turn it
It's repetitive in a way but that's not always a bad thing this song being case in point
There's nothing spectacular about this song but this shows a lot of promise with something to look forward to. You can already tell there's gonna be variety on this album as they're trying new things. I'm expecting another level of experimentation here from Northlane.
Sounds like the band Pendulum
Hey bro Check out Infested Entrails - Drunk On Biddy Lyrical Video

Only northlane I’l listen to is when Adrian was vocalist not this style they have now 😕
@@TricksBe4Chicks forever an Adrian fan

Nine inch nails-discipline???))))

Clockwork easily. Echo chamber is a bit too empty lyrically for me.
Not a fan of this one. Still looking forward to the album.
Stabbing northlane
Pretty disappointing if I'm honest. Alien had so many bangers, I'm crossing my fingers hoping Obsidian is the same. But Echo Chamber was a bit of a dud for me.
This ain’t it for me
Very meh
Big MEH! Northlane haven’t been decent since adrian left

Dead set nothing good about this song. Arghhh.. frustrating
Not a feeling it honestly. not a fan when these hard bands go to pop sounding
Josh has said this is the only pop sounding song on the album. The next single is heavy.
@@_notofthisearth hope you're right because this was garbage.
For god sake can y’all just shut up and enjoy the music sometimes. Go listen to singularity then
@@Engineer_Heathen Your opinion is garbage, but sure
